Inspiredbyasenseofnostalgiafromtherain we’vehadoverthelastfewweeks,Iwrote themelodytothistunewhilststudyingina caféinthecity.Writtenpartiallyasan exerciseinpushingmyselftoexplorenew harmonicideasandrhythms,thiswasalso composedaspartofalargerbodyofwork foraProjectStudy.Likeanycomposition, thisworkdrawsinspirationfromavarietyof sources,includingPatMetheny,Claude Debussy,andofcourse,thesoundofrainfall.
