SUMMER EVENTS It's here! It's here! Longer days, warm nights, a season where anything is possible! This summer, there’s no denying the number of activities that will thrill both adults and children alike. From sunset parties, and sports challenges to family picnics, and movies in the park as well as summer camps, rest assured that you’ll never run out of things to do in Quinta do Lago this summer. So buckle up and join us as we help you experience all that this glorious season has to offer.

FAMILY FAVOURITES Start your summer Sundays with an ultimate brunch experience at Bovino's Steakhouse from July through August with fantastic live music, delicious food and plenty of good times to be had! Get your picnic blankets ready, because Picnic in the Park is back every Friday from the 8th of July to the 19th August, a perfect way to enjoy those long delightful summer evenings. Head over to Tee 1 at South Course on the 25th of July and the 8th of August for a special open-air Movie in the Park. Looking to keep cool during those warm nights? Don't miss our Dive in Movie, the Algarve's only poolside open-air cinema at The Magnolia Hotel, taking place every Tuesday and Thursday after sunset.

LIVE MUSIC DAYS AND NIGHTS Add cool summer music to your days with our Live Music events at our unique restaurants. Keep the party going and stay up late at The Shack's evening parties, Half Moon Party on the 19th of July and Full Moon Party on the 11th of August, featuring live bands and a fantastic live fire act by the lake.

Join us for an evening of dazzling costumes, feathers full of glamour, and wild coloured sunglasses as we pay homage to the music of Sir Elton John with a live tribute show at Dano's on July 28th. Travel back in time with iconic and beloved Elton John songs performed live whilst enjoying delicious food and perfectly chilled local beer.

The excitement never ends with live music and plenty of fun entertainment for kids every evening at Bovino's Steakhouse, Dano's, and KOKO.

SPORTS CAMPS & ACTIVITIES If you are looking to keep the kids motivated this summer, discover all our incredible Summer Camps in Tennis, Dance, Soccer, and Junior Golf, full of inspiration and plenty of fun! Up your golf game at the TaylorMade Demo Day on 15th July at the Paul McGinley Golf Academy. Try your hand at our Mini Golf Family Competitions, which feature mini replicas of famous holes from the Augusta, Belfry, and Sawgrass courses, and find out who the true Mini Golf Champion is in the family! Whatever your child's passion, they will find it this summer at The Campus!

EXPLORE THE WONDERS OF NATURE It's true that getting outside and connecting with nature is extremely beneficial. There isn't a more beautiful place to get your fitness in and embark on an adventure than through the wild Algarve. So, get off the road and onto the trails this summer! Whether walking, cycling, or running, these breathtaking trails will be having you lace up your shoes and head out to enjoy some epic sunset views and glorious sunrises over the Ria Formosa and the Algarve coastline.

DISCOVER THE TRAILS Quinta do Lago has many stunning trails for you to explore nature's wonders. Begin your adventure with a delicious coffee or drink at The Shack to get you started on this hidden gem that is the Litoral Trail, which connects the Ancão beach to The Shack. It is a well worth the trek if you want to see some wonderful sea life or simply enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea. Continue on and discover the natural beauty of the sea, on the Quinta do Lago Trail, which begins at The Shack and leads to the Quinta do Lago Beach Bridge, where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views from Portugal's longest wooden trail bridge, breathe in the fresh ocean air and marvel at the golden dunes, rich in sand loving plants, most notably the fragrant and endangered Portuguese Thyme. At the foot of the bridge is Gigi's restaurant and bar, where you can take a break and unwind with chilled drinks and delicious food while soaking up the Algarve sunshine. For those who want to go further, continue with the São Lourenço Trail, Quinta do Lago, which traverses along the Ria Formosa Natural Park until Faro beach, offering one of the best ways to enjoy the Ria Formosa's tranquil lagoons and salt marshes.

WILDLIFE A natural jewel, the Ria Formosa is one of the most important and protected wetlands in the Iberian Peninsula. It is home to a multitude of diverse plant and wildlife species, with approximately 30,000 birds migrating to its beautiful shoreline every year. With our well-positioned birdwatching posts, you can observe these beautiful creatures without disturbing their natural habitats such as the Flamingos strolling quietly in the salt pans, the Purple Herons, and the Black-winged Stilts, just to name a few. Not to mention the Mediterranean Chameleon, the master of camouflage, which may be difficult to spot, but with a keen eye, they can be found under the umbrella pinewoods.

RENT A BIKE AT THE BIKE SHED Hire a bicycle during your stay in Quinta do Lago and explore the wonders of the resort and its natural landscapes; available for both adults and children. Allow the Bike Shed to take the hassle out of renting or travelling with your bike. We will provide you with everything you need to have a good time on the bike. All you have to do is get out there and enjoy the incredible trails and roads found throughout Quinta do Lago and the Algarve.
