“I’m Free” by Shannon Lee Moseley
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God has chosen for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I’ve found now peace at the end of the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Oh yes, these things, I too will l miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, look for the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much; good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; don’t lengthen your time with undue grief. Lift up your heart and peace to thee, God wanted me now – He set me free.
There are no words to express how much you meant to us nor how much you will be missed. Our comfort rest in knowing we will see you again. Love you beyond the stars.

with all that cared to listen. He was an avid reader and was vocal about social justice issues and politics. Arnold was also the “Bar-B-Que King.” He could grill and smoke ribs and chicken with the best rib shacks in the Midwest. He had a fondness of good food and enjoyed cooking. Arnold was also an enthusiastic shopper. He enjoyed shopping at his favorite stores; Marshall Fields, Brooks Brothers, and Orvis…to name a few. His affinity for clothes, shoes, and hats left Doris with no closet space for her clothes.
Arnold Hoskin, Sr., was born on June 6, 1936, in Chicago, IL. He was the last of eleven children born to the late Eddie and Rachel Hoskin.

There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand. Do it now, while life remaineth; You shall be at rest in God’s own land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting; Oh, the joy to see you come!
