Corporación Quiport Quiport is the concessionaire of the Quito airport service which includes the operation of the former Mariscal Sucre International Airport, as well as the development, financing, construction, operation, management and maintenance of the new Quito International Airport until 2041. Since the beginning of our operation we have strived to reach ever higher standards of customer service, operational efficiency and the development of connectivity and safety for the benefit of airlines and passengers. Connecting Quito with the World Quito, the capital of Ecuador, is a city that contrasts with harmony its historical and cultural attractions with its constant growth and modern transformation, making the city a great metropolis in which the only constant is the warmth of its people. This unique characteristic has positioned Quito as a major tourist and business destination in South America.

The Quito International Airport is the main gateway to Ecuador. It opened in 2013 as the only greenfield airport in Latin America and the Caribbean. Thanks to its technical characteristics, the airport has allowed an important increase in connectivity for Quito and the country, while offering more efficient operations for airlines and enhanced services for passengers.

Safe and Efficient Operations Quito International Airport Aerodrome certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Ecuador. Improved take-off performance with more payload and fuel capacity, avoiding refuelling stopover on long haul flights. Ability for larger airplanes to operate on the 4,098 meter long runway. ARFF response time well within ICAO standards for both runways, category 9. 2 rapid exits taxiway for runway 36 and 1 rapid exit taxiway for runway 18. Automatic baggage handling system. Focused on Developing Connectivity The Quito International Airport, thanks to its technical characteristics and efficient management, is well prepared to continue bolstering the city and country’s air operations. Coupled with the efficient route development strategy carefully prepared by Quiport -based on understanding the needs of airlines and showing them the connectivity opportunities in Quito- the city has undergone significant growth in air connectivity. Since commencing operations in February 2013, 11 new airlines now operate at Quito International Airport, both on non-stop flights to new destinations and in an increased offering on existing flights to highly demanded destinations and now has 20 airlines operating from the Center of the World.

Sustained Traffic Growth From 2010 to 2018, the volume of passengers in the Quito Airport has experienced sustained growth. In 2018, 5.2 million passengers travelled through the Quito Airport, representing a 7.5% increase in relation to 2017. 2018 was a busy year where we welcomed new airlines (Air Europa: Madrid–Quito; Gol: Sao Paulo–Quito) and announced new destinations and carriers (LATAM: Santiago–Quito; Air France: Paris Charles de Gaulle–Quito; Air Canada Rouge: Toronto–Quito).

Under the brand name Mall del Cielo, the airport has a commercial area with an excellent mix of international franchises and local brands that offer the best products. Growth of Cargo Operations The Quito Airport has an integrated infrastructure system which includes logistic facilities and air cargo terminal that optimizes the operations ensuring proper handling of the merchandise. • The technical characteristics of the airport allow the operation of the largest cargo aircraft. • Air cargo traffic in Quito Airport continues to grow, including new arrivals such as Ethiopian Cargo and DHL. • 95% of exported products from the Quito Airport is flowers. Quito is one of the main flower exporters in Latin America. • The Mariscal Sucre Airport was awarded in the 2018 and 2019 Air Cargo Excellence Awards with the Diamond prize in the up to 399,999 tons/year category, Best Cargo Airport in Latin America and Best Specialized Cargo Airport in the World prizes.

Quiport’s initiatives to implement fuel improvement programs, energy efficiency, use of environmentally friendly equipment, appropriate use of water and maintenance of flora and fauna conservation areas, have allowed the Quito International Airport to meet the requirements of ACI’s Airport Carbon Accreditation Program to obtain the Neutrality Certification, becoming the first international airport in Latin America and the Caribbean to achieve this important milestone.

About Corporación Quiport Quiport is the company in charge of the construction, administration, operation and maintenance of the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, Ecuador. Quiport is formed by important companies with vast experience in the concession and operation of airports: CCR of Brazil, Odinsa S.A. of Colombia and HAS Development Corporation (HAS-DC) of the United States. Our shareholders have a combined experience in the region that includes 8 airports that handle over 100 million passengers per year and about 1.1 million tons of cargo per annum.
