BAUHAUS Museum
- Weimar - 2011
Design 3rd year - 20011/12 ETSA Granada. Proyectos IV Professor Ram贸n Fern谩ndez-Alonso. Museo de la Bauhaus en Weimar - Bauhaus Museum in Weimar. Design to the parallel real international competition for the new Bauhaus Museum in Weimar.

The „Minolplatz“ is outside the city center and not necessarily a destination for tourists. To create a connection to the center the „Bertuchstrasse“ is moved from south to north. This allows direct access to the public space that is created south of the „Gauforum“ and also the „Weimar court.“ It also provides direct access to the park. The volume arises from two composite forms. The base is an Sshape which is formed from the road up to the other end of the square in the north-west. This block contains all the functions of the museum on two floors, with the exception of the special exhibition. For this there is an extravagant volume set on top of it. From here you can see the exhibition and at the same time you can enjoy a special view. The two volumes are merged into one in the entrance area. From here, an air space opens up to the top floor connected with an open staircase. From the square place you will pass the cafeteria, which is oriented to the park, and arrive in the semi-private patio (courtyard) where is located the entrance of the museum. In the lobby there is the main staircase that serves as a distributor to all the other areas of the museum. From here is aswell the access to the exhibition on the ground floor.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS & The materiality of the facade is concrete. Wall, ceiling and facade elements are combined on site to a compact building. The parallel structured elements on the second floor also have a supportive function. In the courtyard opposite to the entrance are some steel columns. These are in dialogue with the glass facade of the entrance area, which is also a steel construction.

Market hall

Design 3rd year - 20011/12 ETSA Granada. Proyectos IV Professor Ram贸n Fern谩ndez-Alonso. Nuevo mercado de abastos en el centro historico de Granada - New market in the historic center of Granada. With Micaela Karnikowa.

The market is located in the center of Granada, next to the cathedral and next to a very old and important street-Calle cĂĄrcel baja. This road is the connection to the historic district of Albaicin. In Granada there is a big cultural influence of the Arabs, which inspired us in this market. There are holes in the facade with the shape of Arabic symbols. The translucent concrete facade with two types of holes - partially filled with concrete, other open -allow natural ventilation. The volume creates a public space between the new and the existing market Market St. Augustine, where you meet people, events take place or it can be used for different occasions. The new market is a project with a large staircase (Spanish-steps), it‘s both, a roof and a public space. Main idea and very important is the permeability of the pedestrians through the market. There is plenty of shade and green oases around the market area. The terrace provides a great view of the cathedral and includes the cafe. It is accesible indepent from the market hall.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS & The construction is a grid made of prefabricated steel girders. In the Axonometry you can see the schematic structure of the volume of the market hall, which stretches over two floors. In this framework, the precast concrete parts of the stairs and the ceiling are attached. The concrete facade is made of a translucent concrete with partially filled holes, which are formed from the arabic symbols. The shadow providing metal roof is a steel constuction. Pre fabricated rectangles will be set in. In these metal panels are stamped arabic sybols which create an exciting shade on the stairs.

Library & Cultural Center Design 3rd year - 20011/12 ETSA Granada. Proyectos IV Professor Ram贸n Fern谩ndez-Alonso. Nueva Biblioteca y Centro Cultural al borde de la ciudad de Granada - New library and cultural center on the border of the city Granada. Designidea in a period of 2 1/2 months.
- Granada - 2012
The new library is located on the outskirts of the city of Granada. The highway is right next to it, which gives the new library by the position the function of an entrance gate. From the highway a panoramic view of the mountains of the Sierra Nevada is provided. The two buildings, which surround the space, have different heights. The first idea was to create a connection between the two but not to obstruct the view of the Sierra. In passing the appearance of the building changes from every angle. It could be an open book standing or an inverted mountain. The entrance hall and the access is made from the middle of both sides and should be made of transparent material to create a new connection to the parks around the area. The glass facade is continuously provided with an abstract printed pattern and the density of the applied color changes depending on the value of the rooms behind to be fair the weather influence. Besides the stairs leading from the entrance area (lobby) are workplaces (for groups) Upstairs is a „Book Bar“ where you can have a coffee inside the library zone.

URBAN ANALYSIS: The place of the intervention is the „Business Park Cortijo del Conde de Granada“, which contains the old factory of the Spanish Company: hosted „Tabaco Rama“. The project idea is to create a new residential /commercial zone can be independent of the surrounding towns but at the same time better combining the territories and the continuity of urban edges and green areas tht are involved. In this case, to the nearby district Maracena and Granada. There should be a clear identification of the connection with the urban fabric. The quality of the new settlement is distinguished by the new intesive and interesting relationship with the surrounding landscape. The business park will be an important part of economic activity and investment in the future. The location of the new settlement / neighborhood is almost perfect, because it is located in the northern part of Granada, on the outskirts of the city Atarfe, and there is a very fast connecting to the road from Cordoba to Granada. Less than a kilometer is also the motorway from Seville to Malaga, which provides access to the airport and to the periphery of Granada in only 12 kilometers. Typologies: The volumes of the buildings are different, distinguiehed by residential, commercial and social-public projects. Especially for the two social and commercial public buildings, a volume was developed, consisting of a base and a triangular tower. The angles are pointing towards Maracena, Granada and Atarfe. This triangular shape is repeated for the residential buildings, which are surrounded by the industrial park. This type is designed to meet three basic requirements: comfort in the work environment and in life, for the benefit of flexibility and alignment with views of the surrounding landscape. This concept selects shapes of buildings with different heights that are well adapted to the project idea. The buildings are open in the direction of the countryside, followed by a sequence of commercial public buildings, which also serve as a noise barrier wall will give the residential area more quality. These areas will be connected by new pedestrian and cycle paths. Finally, two bridges unite the two areas next to the highway and bring better quality of life.
CONCEPT: The entire area can be divided into plots with various functions (see concept sketch left) Each plot is a public space in relation to the center of the street and the park. In the center is a mixed function area that matches the surrounding residential area to the industrial /commercial area.

“EL RETABLO DE MAESE PEDRO”
Scenographic design in the andalusian city Úbeda (modell as main medium). Composicion (4th year) Subsequent exhibition of selected student works at the town hall of Úbeda and following publication of Professor Emilio Fernández Cachorro.
- ÚBEDA - 2012
39|40
The corner of the square of the first of May next to the church of St. Paul was chosen by us as the site of the performance of the play „El Retablo de Maese Pedro“ by Manuel de Falla. There is a exciting contrast between the church and the facade of the medieval houses, which are rich with balconies. Master Pedro organized a small puppet performance in which Don Quixote is a spectator. In this backdrop, the staircase plays a big role. She makes a bow and goes into the audience platforms. From the steps in front of the facade the puppets are played. The church tower is integrated by placing the beautiful Melisendra, daughter of Charlemagne, which has fallen into Arabic captivity. Don Quixote is captured by the plot so that the game turned for him into reality. He rushes in to chivalrous to help Melisendra and strikes with his sword the puppet characters that track the king‘s daughter their heads off. While Don Quixote proudly sings a song and its alleged heroic knight celebrating, Master Pedro regrets the loss of his puppets. In our scenography, the stairs at the end are serving as the final hurdle to help liberate Melisendra from the bell tower, which is well supervised by the spectarors. The spectators enter the platforms via stairs, which are between 2 perforated wooden walls. This brings an element of surprise. One feels then even more as a part of the game. Just as Don Quixote intervenes at the end of the action, although he is only a spectator.

Isar footbridge
- Munich - 2013
Structural design 4th year - 2013 - TU München. Chair for Structural Design. Professor Barthel. A new bridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the Isar in the amount of Klenzestraße. The River Isar in Munich is an essential place in the city of Munich. People walk along it and enjoy the nature especially during the summer. The river seperates Munich in east and west ward and the task should be to get a better connection between those. The community of Au Haidhausen is planning to built an walking path across the Isar next to the Klenzestraße. The design is a structure of two arches, which tilt outwards, in between the walking path weaves in an ‚S‘Shape. Besides it also connects the two riverbanks plus the promenade and the little island in between with stairs.

Nature Bodypainting
- Munich 2011
Art project 2nd year - 2011 - Technical University of Munich. Chair of artistic design. Professor Haase. The main objective of the „Salto“ exercises is to see existing things we know in a new light. Everyday objects and situations to be so alienated, so that a new idea comes to the mind, which encourages the viewer to think. Upon entering the old botanical garden, the influences of the people are immediately noticeable. The overall park, with its deliberately set out gravel paths and sculpturally arranged hedges is a place where nature gets into the background to create a venue to meet for people. It is this characteristic we wanted to take up in our project and to counteract it, by removing the human from the center of the action. In addition, we can visually merge it with nature, and thus make it also a part of this - we sensed so much for granted - background.
Six Oak Box
Munich 2013 -
Design 4th year 2012/13 - Technical University of Munich. Chair of light and space art design „furniture design“ under Prof. Hannelore Deubzer. According to the motto: „Reduce Reuse Recycle“ a residual product is recycled and converted. 6 almost square, mitred sawn solid wood flooring remains of a European oak are glued to a box. By 45 ° sawed edges of the cover can be completely submerge into the box. Thus, the cube appears as a closed timber and is only on second glance, the function as a storage possibility again.
