Anna’s Place an inspiring and idealistic lunch café Anna’s Place… is –or rather said; wíll be an inspiring and idealistic lunch café in Cape Town, South Africa. A lunch café not only serving good food for all, but also serving Cape Town’s youth with a pool of opportunities which will broaden their perspectives: on their social life world as well as on their own future. Besides the trainings in job and life skills offered towards youngsters who have been living on the streets, we will create a place for people from all different backgrounds to relax and enjoy a perfect blend of coffee, food and creativity. Our Mission Anna’s Place is a project from Beth Uriel – House of light; currently home to 26 previously disadvantaged young men between the ages of 15 and 23 years old. We are dedicated to create opportunities for those who otherwise would have none. Over the past years a lot has been accomplished. Now, it is time for us to take our next step: create our café Anna’s Place. A place where our young men, but also other (previously) disadvantaged young people, get the opportunity to develop their professional working skills. Also we offer youngsters, coming from whichever socioeconomic class a place to enhance and exhibit their creative skills. Our core ambitions are to empower youth and to enhance social cohesion amongst the young population of Cape Town. Anna’s Place works on a commercial, but not for profit basis. All profits gained out of the lunch café will be used to further develop Anna’s Place and the social care work offered at Beth Uriel. Also in our lunch cafe, we will create a prominent space where you will get advertising space. Lots of publication is awaiting us in magazines, newspapers, on the radio and even on television. Of course we will make sure that you will be mentioned in all publication we’ll get!
