LOGAN DEVELOPMENT UNITY POINT CENTER |WATERLOO, IA The development of a healthcare district on an existing site owned by allen hospital to create an urgent and a primary care facility. Specifically, I worked on the primary care clinic by creating program pieces for a floor plan and exam room layout for the client meeting, writing a building code review, condensing the building footprint by eliminating excess square footage, and creating a cost estimate for interior materials. My final work for this development was making a 3-D drawing of the signages that will help navigate visitors on the North Crossing property.

NORTH MAHASKA COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL STORM SHELTER GRANT |NEW SHARON, IOWA Developing storm shelter designs that can accommodate the school’s growing needs as well as the needs of the neighboring middle and elementary schools while maintaining a room that can be used as a storm shelter safe. Specifically, I helped brainstorm shelter layouts and researched FEMA requirements for storm shelters. This required learning of ‘Design Options’ in Revit to create as many options necessary for various design schemes. Proposal 1: One Safe Room used as a multi-purpose space amongst the three schools.
