CluB DireCtor, isaaC MCBriDe - isaac was born and raised in Cleveland, Mississippi. in 2003, isaac moved to Memphis, and prior to joining the smith Club, he worked as a career coach at Mid-south Community College. isaac, has a vast background in working for the best interest of children and is consumed with improving each child’s quality of life.

proGraM DireCtor, laWreNCe kris youNG- lawrence came to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis years ago as a club member at the Goodwill unit. Now he serves as the program Director at the Bernal e. smith sr. unit setting a great example for the members of what you can achieve when you set your mind to it.

CluB DireCtor, roN NelsoN - Growing up, ron was a member of the Dixie Boys Club for 11 years under the direction of Bernal smith. in 2005, he became the program Director at the John Dustin Buckman Branch. While serving in this capacity, he has instilled positive character and leadership skills and quality programming for over 500 youth.

CluB DireCtor, GWeNDolyN WooDs - Gwendolyn Woods was born and raised in Memphis. raised by a single mom in the inner city of Memphis after her father passed away from leukemia, she was shaped by her hardship. her experiences blessed her with several opportunities to work with youth in different organizations. she is excited about being a part of the Memphis Boys & Girls Clubs.

CluB DireCtor, paula GuytoN -paula Guyton is a native of Memphis, tN. paula is an outgoing, dedicated, hardworking young lady who loves working with youth of all ages. she has been a staff member of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Memphis since 2001. paula has worked at four units, all in which she has been promoted. paula believes in “inspiring youth to Be Great!”

CluB DireCtor, aNtoNio harris - antonio harris was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from lemoyne-owen College. he still holds the record for the most three pointers in one game at 14. after college be became program Director at the porter Goodwill Club, where he now currently serves as a Club Director.

CluB DireCtor, kristyN MartiN - kristyn Martin was raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. she has worked for a number of recreational and educational youth development programs since the age of 16, even serving as a Community Center assistant Director with the City of Memphis. kristyn encourages youth to learn, grow, and have fun within a safe environment.

CaMP PhOenix DireCtOr: proGraM DireCtor, BrittaNy hart- Brittany was born and raised in savannah, tN. throughout college, she was employed with Buckman Boys and Girls Club and in June 2014, she accepted the program director position. she is setting a great example for the members of what you can achieve when you set your mind to it. proGraM DireCtor, Chris GarNer - Growing up in the inner city of Memphis, Chris had to work hard and prove himself at all times. he grew up in the ira samelson Boys & Girls Club with friends such as penny hardaway and elliot perry. each of them went on to play in the NBa, and Chris is now ready to use his experiences playing basketball to teach and show the kids of Memphis that “DreaMs Do CoMe true”

SyCaMOre proGraM DireCtor, akuMDi okWuNBua “efay”- ifeakumdin’chi (My Wealth is in the lord) was raised in Memphis, tN. efay is a creative and an outgoing individual who loves to engage in fashion design, sports, and fine arts. he has mentored and worked with inner city youth since his early teenage years and has been a staff member of Boys and Girls Club Greater Memphis since 2006. proGraM DireCtor, DeMario Byer - DeMario moved to Memphis at an early age and graduated from frayser high. he has helped found, fund and direct various youth programs such as hopes and hoops basketball training camp and GyM (GoD’s young Men) Ministries. he joined the Boys & Girls Clubs in 2013.

OaKhaVen proGraM DireCtor, kelly thoMas - kelly was born and raised in Memphis. Before becoming program Director, kelly worked for the parks & Neighborhoods division for the City of Memphis as a recreation leader. his love and desire to see children and young adults achieve their goals and see their dreams fulfilled drive him to work to the best of his ability

CaMp DireCtor, DaVe keiGaN – Growing up, Dave spent summers in Maine on sebago lake where he learned to swim, fish, canoe and explore the woods. after college, he moved to southern California where he started working for the Boys & Girls Club as shop Director and worked his way up to program Director. he became Camp Director of pathfinder ranch for the Boys & Girls Club of palm springs in 1983. Dave joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis in february 2009 to Direct Camp phoenix.
