CHANGING

REPRESENTATION

Student Voice exists to empower our 40,000 students. Collectively we amplify your voices to ensure they are not only heard by the University of Manchester, but on a local, national and international scale, including at all levels of the Students’ Union and University, and help them make change through campaigning!

There are elected representatives for every aspect of student life, including what you study, where you live and who you are. You can stand and vote in the elections we run throughout the year.

DEMOCRACY Your elected representatives sit on our Student Senate. They decide what the Students’ Union should do and believe. You can propose any idea you have about change you want to see.

10

CAMPAIGNING Your representatives are constantly campaigning for change. We have support and funding available for any student to run a campaign on campus. Visit the Student Voice Office to get started or join an existing campaign.
