04 A Multi- Level Retail Store DESIGN DESCRIPTION The goal of this project was to design a multi- level retail store for HOUSINGWORKS located on 6th Ave., 17th St in New York City. KINTSUGI PHILOSOPHY Kintsugi can be seen to have similarities to the Japanese philosophy of wabi- sabi, an embracing of the flawed or imperfect. Japanese aesthetic values marks of wear by the use of an object.
