04 A Multi- Level Retail Store DESIGN DESCRIPTION The goal of this project was to design a multi- level retail store for HOUSINGWORKS located on 6th Ave., 17th St in New York City. Client, precedent and material analyses were extracted to form a distinguished concept for the store. DIMENSIONS level 3: 89’ x 28’ x 12’ level 2: 89’ x 28’ x 9’ level 1: 89’ x 28’ x 12’

KINTSUGI PHILOSOPHY Kintsugi can be seen to have similarities to the Japanese philosophy of wabi- sabi, an embracing of the flawed or imperfect. Japanese aesthetic values marks of wear by the use of an object.
