Contemporary Portrait Photography Portrait photography has changed so much since the 80s glamour style portraits. Today, it has become more “Fashion Magazine Style”. What I offer is a celebrity-style photoshoot experience with fully styled hair, makeup, and clothing however you want to be photographed, with whoever you want to be photographed with.
Be the star in YOUR own photoshoot How do you want to be seen, how do you see yourself? The first step is our consultation when we will plan the photoshoot that you’re dreaming of. You can bring up to five outfits for your photoshoot and we’ll help you style them. IF you do not have five outfits to wear, during the consultation we can style a wardrobe for you from what we offer in our studio or, we can help you find outfits to rent or buy online. I can even make and design gowns for your shoot! I have crafted headpieces, neck pieces, dresses and tulle skirts for many of my clients. At the shoot my makeup and hair artist will give you a full makeover reaching any level of glam that you want to be. So whatever you dream of – that is what I will create for you.
Who would you like to be photographed with? Enjoy your photo shoot by yourself or with your mother, sister, daughter, best friend, husband, or partner. We can create an incredible shoot for you and your daughters where the guys show up at the end for family portraits. You can share this experience with your Mum and Grandma. I’ve photographed three and four generations together. You could also plan it as a “Girl’s Day Out” with champagne and hor d’oeuvres. And the best part, you can go out that night and “paint the town red” because you are all going to look and feel fabulous!

GETTING READY A week or two before your photoshoot, schedule some “me time” to pamper yourself. This is when you’ll want to start getting ready for your photo session. Schedule a manicure the day before, make an appointment the week of with your stylist or favorite salon to touch up your hair cut or color if needed. These little touch ups can go a long way to making you feel even more confident and camera ready! Gather your wardrobe together or go shopping for something new! WHAT TO WEAR? How we style you depends on the type of portrait shoot you choose During your consultation we will talk about what type of portrait session you want, how you want to be photographed and start planning your wardrobe. There are many options when it comes to getting your wardrobe ready for your portrait session. You can bring in outfits from home and we’ll style you in the perfect combinations for your shoot. We can rent or buy dresses from online stores. Borrow outfits from your friends or family. You can choose pieces from our instudio wardrobe collection OR I can craft a beautiful custom gown especially for you!

THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi there, I’m Rachel: Australian-born, displaced in Paris! I’m taking advantage of the beauty that the “City of Light” has to offer by creating a unique and memorable experience for all women and their families who are visiting Paris, that want to create an artistic souvenir of their time here. Paris at dawn is quite simply remarkable and the best time to capture images, and I am excited to show you the sights while you dance, laugh and love life, and each other, in front of my camera.

Fiona is a talented horticulturist based in London who wanted some personal branding portraits done for her website. We made the most of the early Spring blossoms in a private garden close to her flat and then headed home for some sexy boudoir style portraits to create a special gift for her lover.
Cynthia and 3 months young Seraphin came to my home studio in Paris for a Mama and Baby shoot. We styled Cynthia in a lace gown and flower crown which I think accentuates her “Goddess” status! I look forward to yearly shoots with them both.
