“Design is not just what it looks likedesign is how it works. -Steve jobs
philosophy Over the years, my passion for design has grown immensely. I have come to see real beauty in functionality and intention within design. Through my work I seek to provide purpose through beneficial space planning along with the addition of beautiful, inspiring, yet functional aesthetics. As I enter the workforce I am enthusiastic to bring color, shape, nature, and function to interiors. I believe in interiors that enhance the user’s life and the surrounding environment through simple touches such as natural daylight, using a smaller footprint, or comfortable and relaxing aesthetics.

DISCOVERING
Frank Lloyd Wright Museum
AN INSPIRATION
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin Completed: Fall 2013 Size: 43,000 square feet Partnered with Ashley Johnson PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Design a space for a selected collection of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work.
Symbolically, the abstract kite demonstrates the overall simplicity of the design
DESIGN CONCEPT: When walking along the shores of Lake Michigan one will observe a community that is biking, running & in particular flying kites. The concept for FLW’s museum is inspired by the geometrical shape of a kite. From this kite shape the exterior shell is formed and creates a foundation for an open concept of the interior.
