SPRING ‘19
Y HELLO ZL Y: T I N U M M O C We had an amazing year together, filled with twists and turns. We have shared incredible successes. Studio B is now up and running thanks to our great engineer Rachel! We now have the ability to play vinyl on air. Thanks to some equipment investments, we now can live mix on our CDJs. We finished half decade long project of organizing and cataloging the CD collection! All of these success were made possible by our amazing and passionate members who have worked tirelessly to make our space better together.
We shared some great music: Prior Panic, Hannah Guzman, Daysi, Orion Sun, Honey
Cutt, DJ Haram, Dee Diggs, Lunamariposa, DJ Saskia. We can never forget the intense atmosphere of watching the spring show in the creaky Shakes house as a massive thunderstorm enveloped us!
We suffered through some bad news to gether: the construction on the station. It is amazing that ZLY will finally become accessible. But that is not to deny the anxieties we all faced as we wondered what this new construction project would mean for the future of our co-op. Thankfully, we will continue to be broadcasting during the construction.
