This project addresses the challenges faced by increasing flood, development pressure, and ageing infrastructure within the Thames Estuary. The project develops a design strategy for slowing, storing, and moving water through the watershed of the River Darent. The proposed system exposed water and integrates it with urban infrastructure to make the experience of water, and its management, part of a new strategy for living within a flood plain.
