Agency Roles Traffic & Process
The traffic department is responsible for steering various creative projects through the different departments of the agency. The traffic manager creates and tracks job jackets, knows who is working on what at all times and makes sure everyone meets their deadlines.
Mech. & Production
The mechanical and production designers review all files after they are designed. They make sure that the technical aspects are correct and advise changes based on context.
Media Buying & Strategy
The media department analyzes and pinpoints the target market and researches the competitive media environment. They communicate with media vendors and produce a media plan for investing the client’s dollars in ways that will reach the best prospects most effectively.
Public Relations
Some responsibilities of the PR department include helping clients guide conversation and what is being said, writing press releases, communicating with news and media outlets and helping companies prepare for interviews, among other responsibilities.
Social Media
The social media team manages several social media platforms, including twitter, facebook, etc., for a variety of clients. This department is part of the PR team.

Brand managers serve as the liaison between agency and client. They are in constant communication with their clients and are responsible for understanding their needs and communicating them with the agency.
