Prior to joining the law firm of Ray, Valdez, McChristian& Jeans, Ms. Franco was a VP-General Counsel for an Austin based credit union with over $550 million in assets, 70,000 members, five branches, and over 150 employees. She also served as the General Counsel for State Senator Eliot Shapleigh of El Paso from 2001-2006. She was considered a leading advisor on school finance in the Senate and was responsible for many of the Senator’s budgetary appropriations.
