C o n c e p t I analysis these four kind of snow , and ďŹ nd four kinds of element that form the different snow. Transforming these four kinds of element to different medium of interface. And recompose these interface to respond the quality of element in snow . After that , I create different composition of interface that can affect the sounds and make it be absorbed or reected .

Make a balance between tour and dwell

My site is in Jiufen. It's a very noisy place. The noise of tourists always disturbs residents. So I use my system to build a theatre . Not only let people have open space which can communicate with others but also make the sounds stay in the place , not to disturb residents .

The God, coming with clouds, shelters residents in Tamsui. In the sky, being with gold light, he is revered by us as clouds condenses into rain, washing over the ground. On the earth, being visible around us although, he is unable to be touched as mist.

You can't find any complex technology, and any high colour saturation. Music in there even makes people feel a atmosphere of Zen. Thus,we feel peaceful unknowingly.

Story about interacting between Soho & office workers to imagine their live.

OfďŹ ce worker went home and heard people chatting .

She smelled the fragrance which was from the shower-water her neighbour washing.

On weekends ,there were people gathering under the tree to hear stories, having a meeting , or reading books.

They took a walk along the tree after dinner.

Indefinite&Glimmering Space

How to definite the space of Muji-Housing? What kind of space fit the nuclear family nowadays? I thought about the concept from a product of Muji ash container. Which made me thought of the Japanese cultural aesthetic,wabi-sabi, whose meaning includes indefinite boundary, sensory message, and adapting to the nature. I transformed that into the method of defining space, and tried to respond to the atmosphere of wabi-sabi. Simultaneously, I observed the phenomenon of nuclear family in the society, and found the like-singleness family had already become one of the most. Thus, I wrote three stories including three types of family composed of office worker & SOHO worker, and focused on how they interact. I defined programs by that. Studying several form of indefinite boundary & sensory space, I composed various space of trees and wind , water and light ,and so on, became to library, living room, bedroom, etc.

Page 74

Indefinite&Glimmering Space

By indefinite boundary between public & private space and sensory layers,it makes people gradually contact with the nature from personal space, even makes the nature extend inside.
