Soundsplash returned to Raglan over the weekend bringing the annual summer festival back to the beach at Wainui Reserve.

While some initial hiccups caused delays on Friday, once inside, festivalgoers appeared to be having a great time.

"The rest of the festival was run so well. There were sunblock stations, well-being tents, plenty of water stations and lovely caring wardens who were very switched on when it came to checking in. It’s a shame that the media only pick up on the negative side of everything!" Said attendant Lisa Horobin on her experience at the festival.

Soundsplash organisers would like to put out a huge thank you to all the crew, volunteers and community members that contributed to the event and would like to acknowledge the awesome effort and time that was put into making sure that festival attendees had a great experience at Soundsplash.
