WAGHA TOWN LAHORE PAKISTAN, HAS EXPERIENCED RAPID RATES OF URBANIZATION DUE TO MAJOR TRANSIT ROUTES SUCH AS THE RING ROAD, GT ROAD AND ORANGE L NE MAKING IT ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT-AFTER REGIONS FOR URBAN DEVELOPMENT.THE CURRENT SITE WHICH IS SELECTED AS A BROWNFIELD SITE TO ENCOURAGE THE USE OF BROWNFIELD SITES OVER GREENFIELD SITES AND INTEGRATE AN APPROACH TO ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN PLANNING THAT INTEGRATES NATURE AND BENEFITS THE ENVIRONMENT RATHER THAN NEGAT NG IT

CELEBRATING THE ARTS & CULTURE OF LAHORE, PAKISTAN, THIS MUSEUM DESIGN AIMS TO ALLOW THE VISITORS TO GO THROUGH AN EXPERIENTIAL JOURNEY WITHIN AND WITH THE BUILDING, ALLOWING THEM TO BECOME A PART OF THE WELCOMING CULTURE OF PUNJAB.
Alive that s what a building should be, a living space for humans, to connect to learn, to understand, and more than anything, to move in Human inspires the museum design movements, an aspect of fluidity through organic curves is the central e ement in the museum design
The aim is to ach eve a d rect on of movement and experiential journey for people not only inside the museum but outs de as well.

ST FLOOR ROOFTOPINSP RED BY THE QURANIC VERSES DESCRIBING THE CHARACTER ST CS OF JANNAH (HEAVEN) THIS MOSQUE SERVES AS AN ARCHITECTURAL EMBODIMENT OF HEAVENLY ELEMENTS ON EARTH. IT INCORPORATES WATER FEATURES GARDENS, ABUNDANT FRUITS MOT FS, 8 ENTRANCES LUSH CARPETS, AND UNPARALLELED COMFORT, MIRRORING THE DIVINE SERENITY AND BLISS THAT MUSLIMS ASPIRE TO IN THEIR FINAL DEST NATION
THE MOSQUE FEATURES, SHADING DEVICES ALONG THE SUNPATH AND DEEP VERANDAS TRANSITIONING INTO THE COURTYARD, ALLOWING CONSTANT AIR FLOW AND THERMAL COMFORT WHILE STILL BEING CONNECTED TO THE LANDSCAPE AND VIEWS OUTSIDE. THE GARDENS OF HEAVEN ARE TRANSLATED INTO THE COLUMNS OF THE MOSQUE CASCADING INTO THE PRAYER AREA DECORATED WITH MOTIFS AND MOSIAC WORK.
THE MOSQUE IS DIVIDED NTO 3 STOR ES CONNECTED WITH A TR PLE-HEIGHTED BALCONY TO ECHO THE MAM’S PRAYER LEAD THROUGHOUT THE GROUND FLOOR FEATURES THE MALE PRAYER AREA AND MADRASSA (QURAN CLASS), FOLLOWED BY THE F RST FLOOR FOR THE MALE PRAYER AREA AND THE BASEMENT FOR FEMALE PRAYER AREAS
TRANSLATING TO "ON THE WAY TO RAVI RIVER) THE HOSPITAL DESIGN FOCUSES ON HEALING ARCHITECTURE TECHNIQUES, CREATING A SAFE AND ACCESSIBLE HOSPITAL FOR THE VILLAGES IN LAHORE. THIS PROJECT AIMS TO CREATE AN EFFICIENT WORKFLOW FOR THE USERS AS WELL AS A HEALING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PATIENTS.

UNDER THE GUIDENCES OF IAP, INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS PAKISTAN, A COLLABORATION PROJECT BETWEEN 6 UNIVERSITIES OF LAHORE ENGAGES IN DEVELOPING AND DESIGNING A KINETIC FACADE/SKIN TO TACKLE THE ISSUES OF AIR POLLUTION AND SMOG IN THE CITY.
ADRESSING THE ISSUES OF GLOBAL WARMING AND ENVIROMENTAL HAZARDS, ARCHITECTURE TODAY CALLS FOR A SUSTANINABLE VIEW OF LIVING THE CONCEPT OF "EARTHSHIP" WAS INTRODUCED BY MICHEAL REYNOLDS, WHO CREATED LIVING SPACES WITH SUSTAINBLE SYSTEMS AND RECYCLABLE VERNACULAR MATERIALS.
CONSTRUCTED WITH VERNACULAR MATERIAL AND PASSIVE BUILDING TECHNIQUES, THE EARTHSHIP IS CONSTRUCTED WITH RAMMED EARTH WALLS TO TACKLE THE HOT CLIMATE OF ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN. THE BUTTERFLY ROOF, IS MADE OF RECYLED ALMUNIMUM WHICH ALLOWD THE THE RAIN WATER TO BE HARVESTED.
MEANWHILE THE INTERNAL LAYOUT OF THE HOUSE IS DESIGNED ALONG A HALLWAY WITH OPENING ON BOTH ENDS, ALLOWING THE AIR TO FLOW THROUGH THE HOUSE AND PASSIVILY COOLS IT.
UNLIKE ARCHITECTURE FOR ADULTS, DESIGNING A LEARNING ENVIROMENT FOT CHILDREN AT THEIR PRIMARY AGES OF 4 -11, THE DESIGN CALLS FOR A COMPLETE STUDY OF CREATING SPACES THAT COMFORT AND SPARK JOY IN CHILDREN. STRIPPING OUT THE TRADITONAL 'SIT AND LEARN' METHOD, THIS SCHOOL INTENDS TO CREATE INTERACTIVE LEARNING SPACES FOR CHILDREN THROUGH THE BUIDLING.
