A MOBILE KIOSK WHICH CAN BE MADE COMPACT BY CLOSING IT WHEN NOT IN USE. THE CONTRASTING MATERIAL CREATES A PARADOX. THE SITE WAS ALSO HUGELY ALTERED TO ENHANCE DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY OF THE KIOSK. THE PRIVATE SPACES LIKE STORAGE IS COVERED WITH SOLID MATERIAL LIKE CORTEN STEEL WHERE AS THE PREPARATION AREA IS MADE OF GLASS TO MAKE A TRANSPARENT DESIGN.

TWO SPACES ARE COMPRESSED SO THAT EACH SPACE CAN FIT INTO ITS SUCCESSIVE SPACE

A STEP LIKE FORM IS CREATED SO THAT THE SMALLER SPACE CAN SLIDE INTO THE BIGGER SPACE AND THE CLOSED FORM IS COMPACT AND CAN BE EASILY TRANSPORTED

SO IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE HOUSE NOT ONLY FULL FILLS THE FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS BUT ALSO CREATES A SENSE OF CONNECTION WITH MAN AND ITS SURROUNDING. THIS RESIDENCE IS DESIGNED KEEPING THIS FACTORS IN MIND WHICH HELPS MAN CONNECT WITH NATURE.

. .TO DESIGN A SCHOOL FOR NURSERY, PRIMARY AND ELEMENTARY STUDENTS WITH BASIC FACILITIES LIKE AUDITORIUM, LIBRARY, PLAY AREA, LABS AND OPEN SPACES. A SCHOOL IS A PLACE WHERE ONE NOT ONLY LEARNS BUT ALSO INTERACTS WITH OTHERS, SO THE DESIGN INTENDED TO CREATE MORE INTERACTION SPACE WHERE ONE CAN EASILY INTERACT WITH AND LEARN. THIS SPACES WHERE THE EXTERNAL CLASSROOMS WHICH WHERE ADDED TO EACH CLASSROOM WHICH COULD BE USED AS INTERACTION SPACE OR EXTERIOR LEARNING SPACE. IT WAS ALSO INTENDED TO ALLOW MAXIMUM NORTH LIGHT.

CONCEPT: .

THE MAIN CONCEPT IN THE DESIGN OF THE SCHOOL ARE THE EXTERIOR LEARNING SPACE. THIS SPACE ARE DESIGNED KEEPING THE PHYSCOLOGY OF STUDENTS IN MIND. ITS IS SEEN THAT STUDENTS LEARN FASTER IN OPEN AND EXTERIOR SPACE AND EVEN WITH INTERACTION WITH OTHER STUDENTS. THE EXTERIOR CLASSROOMS IN NURSERY CLASSES CAN BE USED AS THE INTERIOR PLAY AND ACTIVITY SPACE.

WITH VERY LESS SCOPE OF RECREATION, RELAXATION AND SPENDING QUALITY TIME THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT TO PRACTICE THE ABOVE ACTIVITIES AND AGAIN GET BACK TO ONE’S BUSY LIFE. THE DESIGN WAS DONE TAKING CARE OF VIEW POINTS AND PROVIDING RELAXATION POINTS AT MOST PARTS.

THREE MASSES PLACED OVER EACH OTHER TO OBTAIN BASIC PLACEMENT OF SPACES

EACH SUCCESSIVE MASS IS MOVED FROM THE MASS ABOVE IT SO THAT THIS MASSES SITS PERFECTLY ON EACH A LT E R N AT I V E CONTOUR STEPS.

MASSES ARE AGAIN MOVED A LITTLE FROM THE WALLS OF CONTOUR TO OBTAIN A PASSAGE WHICH ACT AS TUNNEL. THE MASSES ARE THEN TILTED WITH SOME EXTRA ANGULAR PROJECTIONS TO MAXIMIZE THE VIEW.

LED LIGHT FROSTED GLASS

THE CANOPIES ARE DESIGNED AND PLACED IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT SHADES DURING DAY PROVIDING PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE WHERE AS DURING NIGHT IT PROVIDES LIGHTING. IT IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT TO THE USER.

TO DESIGN A COMMERCIAL COMPLEX HAVING SHOPPING MALL, MULTIPLEX, AND A OFFICE SPACE. THE DESIGN WAS INTENDED TO HAVE AN OPEN ATRIUM WHICH COULD BE SHADED WITH AN UMBRELLA LIKE STRUCTURE. BOTH THE OFFICE AND MALL ARE PROVIDED WITH SEPARATE ENTRANCE WITH MALL HAVING ENTRANCE FROM FRONT OF THE SITE WHERE AS OFFICE FROM THE REAR SIDE. THE FRONT AND WESTERN FACADE OF THE COMPLEX HAVE LOUVRES LIKE STRUCTURE WHICH ARE SOLAR PANELS. THE UMBRELLA LIKE STRUCTURE ALSO PROVIDES LIGHTING AT NIGHT. THE FACADE WAS INTENDED TO BLEND WITH SURROUNDING THAT IS THE BUILDINGS OF IT CORRIDOR WHERE AS THE INTERIOR WAS INSPIRED WITH NATURE.

THE ATRIUM SPACE IS KEPT OPEN AND I S C R E AT E D B Y O B S E R V I N G T H E MOVEMENT OF RIVER ACROSS MOUNTAINS. EACH CORRIDOR ABOVE ATRIUM HAS DIFFERENT CURVES GIVING IT A CONTOUR LIKE FORM DEPICTING M O U N TA I N .

T H E S PA C E S A R E Z O N E D I N A CUBOID ACCORDING TO ITS PRIVACY THAT IS OFFICE BEING PRIVATE SPACE KEPT IN REAR SIDE.

THE CUBOID IS THEN SCOOPED ACCORDING TO SITES CONSTRANT.

SERVICE CORES WITH FIRE EXIT, ELEVATORS, TOILETS AND AHU ADDED AT REGULAR INTERVALS.

THE UMBRELLA LIKE STRUCTURE ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE SHADE AND LIGHT TO THE ATRIUM(SHADE DURING DAY AND LIGHT DURING NIGHT). THIS STRUCTURE CAN BE OPENED AND CLOSED WHEN NEEDED. THE STEM OF THE UMBRELLA IS MADE OF CONCRETE WHERE AS THE TOP IS MADE OF TENSILE MATERIAL WITH COLLAPSABLE STEEL SECTION. THE EXTERIOR OF STEM IS FINISHED WITH MARBLE.
