CONTENTS - ABOUT ME - PORTFOLIO - CONTACT

ABOUT ME In my life I have always dreamt of being a fashion designer. My goal is to create a clothing line that is suitable for all age groups and genders. In my creations I want to showcase my creative and art based aesthetics and also would like them to be affordable. My design philosophy is to create something that will make people stare in appreciation of beauty, simplicity and elegance. I enjoy making sketches of clothing that one day will hopefully be available in stores all over. Fashion designing in my opinion is a way to express the unique side of your creativity, also it is a career that i belive I can achieve only if I stay focused and continue to put in my efforts. I believe in this saying “A piece of clothing should be like a work of Art.

CAPSULE COLLECTION ‘‘Animal Skull’’

ABOUT THE THEME

The Skull is one of the oldest and most powerful of all the Symbols. It has been used to symbolize both side of the spectrum and therefore have diverse Meaning to different people. For some, it represents death and even Evil, but others view them very differently. For some, Skull symbolize Protection, Strenght, Power, Fearlessness, Wisdom and Guidance, Over coming Death, Surviving thougha dificult time, or even Immortality. I chosed this theme because when i think of the sculpture first thing comes in my mind is a Animal Skull I get inspired by the Fashion from Animal Skull. I would like to develope something more interesting in Fashion which is more inspiring.During the Animal Skull in Fashion terms Designer’s was a lot of Creativty more interesting in Fashion which mostly focused on imagination and created various designs to accessorize themeselves.

Autumn Winter 2017 ‘‘View From Edge of River’’

The main idea which I wanted to showcase through my collection was, firstly the variations seen in nature, which no matter what are always beautiful, and secondly the rawness that adds to it. Keeping all of the above in my mind, I wanted to create something which had variations and the rawness very well intact in each look. So designs came up to be loosely fitted, unstructured with uneven hem lines and varied silhouettes, which closely matched to the idea of a grunge look. When all my designs where to brought to reality, denim and linen were my preferred choice of fabrics. The reason behind this choice was the ability of the denim fabric to allow itself to get soaked in any kind of variation (like the different kinds of washing effects and textile works that can be done on denim) and still stay intact with its originality, while, linen was the second option because of its natural characteristic of durability, strength and the raw look it gives.

COUTURE COLLECTION 2018

“Nostalgic Assemble”

About My Concept Couture is basically to define what a person is, what are the qualities that the person holds within himself/herself. It basically showcases a unique style of the designer. Keeping this mind, to bring out the qualities and the kind of person I am, I started with my couture collection. I feel I am more into the craftsmen ship and traditional architecture. This inspired me to do something or develop something in the field of fashion. Whenever we think of traditional architecture, we think about structure and varied things that are put together in one platform. But I wanted to bring my personal touch into this. So, I thought of making my designs in a minimal way with the twist of craftsmen ship. The structure and the shapes of the havelis, which inspired me the most was something that I really wanted to be shown in my garments. So, the concept for the couture collection is based on the defined structure of the havelis as well as the elements of my personality. Keeping this concept in mind I began with my couture collection.
