The given program was to design an institute for professional courses for practical skills. Also the program included hostel facility for students and bungalow for director ,inside the campus. The given courses were divided into 3 verticals- S O F T S K I L L S - H O M E S C I E N C E - S K I L L E N H A N C E M E N T The site was located on a contour land, and the site widens towards south-west. Location - Wilson Hills,Gujarat Climate - Hot And Dry Material Pallet - Rcc, Bricks, Timber, Concrete. S

ABOUT The institute is mainly divided by clusters as per its function and the courses. The clusters were then stacked in a manner to encourage more horizontal and vertical interaction and visual connectivity. Each cluster was planned around a central green OTS which acts as source of light as well as helps in ventilation. The workshops have mezzanine floor for theory classes overlooking the central space. The contour site was steep towards the north. So the hostel was planned at the highest point as for the advantage of view. The institute was planned on flatter land for the ease of construction.

CONCEPT The clustered volumes were staggered to encourage more interactions between different levels and allows to a larger area visually. The lifted monolithic roof allows air circulation throughout the institute. The form of roof is inspired by the beautiful landscape surrounding the institute. Circular openings acts as source of light and also a means of ventilation and giving the space a strong positive aura.

W O M E N ’ S O P P O R T U N I T Y C E N T E R , CONTEXTUAL STUDIO
The program was to design a social center and a workspace environment for women to provide them an opportunity to become self-sustainable and also generate a second income for their family. As directed by the brief the opportunity center should also consist of a retail shop and a ceremonial hall directly accessible from both ,opportunity center and Tarkeshwar Mahadev Mandir ,which is also the immediate context and also a part of the program. ABOUT Inspired from bharat bhavan and gandhi ashram the opportunity center follows a strong grid pattern. The central multipurpose court is the heart of the project and all the functions are planned around it. The courtyard is directly with the road through 5m wide passage which gives the view of an elevated courtyard, this will create curiosity in pedestrians walking by and try to pull them inside

CONCEPT All the functions are planned around a common gathering space. The journey from the entrance to courtyard passes through varying levels and changing light and juxtaposition of semi-open and close spaces. Large mass is placed on the western side to cut harsh sun and provide illumination through reflecting morning sunlight .

ABOUT The design of the meditation hall was inspired from the shri yantra which has a property to channel energy. The meditation hall is a column-less space and the pre-cast roof sits on a system of 3 arches which supports the entire roof. The meditation hall is surrounded by a waterbody which also acts as climate regulator. The workshops are designed to convert itself from a closed to a semi-open space. Outdoor gazebos are provided throughout the site for a pleasant outdoor experience.

CONCEPT The form of the meditation hall was derived from shri yantra. The entire roof rests on a structural system of three arches so as to give a large columnless space. Water flowing under the sittings adds the sound of flowing water and also helps in keeping the space cool.

AMPHITHEATRE SAYAJI BAUG , MATERIAL STUDIO
The given program was to design a roofing system for a per-existing amphitheater at sayaji baug, baroda. Sayaji baug is a public garden in baroda built by the Gaikwad family in 1890, it has a museum, planetarium, toy train, zoo and well planned pathways with palms on both sides. Location - Baroda,Gujarat Climate - Hot And Dry Material Pallet - Steel, Tensile Fabric S

ABOUT The roofing system is made up from two independent structural systems. Where one system covers the sitting area and the othe r c o v e r s t h e s t a g e p a r t i a l l y. The void between the two systems is fill with tensile fabric which will provide diffused light.
PLAN
SECTION
CONCEPT The key idea was to cover only the stage and the sitting partially and keep the structure visually light. The roofing of the stage is inspired from art of origami.also due to the need of a columnless space the structeru was divided into two parts where both have independent structure and the void was filled with tensile fabrics which helps achive the lightness in structure.

Introduction To Colours,Basic Design The main aim of the exercise was to gain a basic understanding of hues and its tints and tones and basic colour schemes.

Decoding The Geometry,Basic Design Just a mere exploration to find a form in the organic tree branch through connecting its vertices and adding of planes.

AMBE TARO AURA -INSTALLATION
The installation was executed on the occasion of navratri. The hexagonal truss represent the almighty which is the Spiritual support and influences the ethics and morales of life. The earthen pot signifies the life itself and the hexagonal rings represent the 5 mass extinctions through which the human race flourished.
SPATIAL VOIDS -INSTALLATION
The installation was displayed at a college festival.the cubes are suspended from the ceiling with plastic floss to give the appearence of levitating cubes, and give differentcomposition from different sides.

PLEASE TOUCH
-INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION Just a small step towards ‘for the public’ realm.’Please touch’ works on the principles of transfer of mechanical energy, with a push of the pedal the work done is transfered to a system which generates a motion to replicate sine wave, rotation of the wheel of cycle spins 5 other wheels each being connected to horizontal member whose horizontal movement has been limited by use of channels. The movement of horizontal members create a kinetic wave above the passage.
Mechanism and Phase Difference
Motion inspired from Sine wave
