AKKI-ASH pose threat to Akki-Kat pair?
O
ne of the most anticipated films of the year is Vipul Shah’s Action Replayy. It is based on A Curious Case of Benjamin Button and stars Aishwarya Bachchan and Akshay Kumar. The film is making news for its unusual premise and also for its casting. It brings the two stars together for the first time. The macho khiladi and the beautiful diva surely make an attractive pair. Cinegoers are eagerly waiting to see the good-looking Jodi on screen.
Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar’s great chemistry in the upcoming period comedy has director Vipul Shah wondering why the two have not been paired earlier.

remains to be seen how they will be received by the audience. Incidentally, this is another chapter in Aishwarya-Katrina face-off. Kat had recently replaced Aishwarya as the face of a leading soap brand. And now the latter is Akshay new leading lady!

But the casting coup has sparked another issue – will the Akki-Ash pair be as big a hit as the Akki-Kat one? Most of Akshay’s hit films have been with the lovely Katrina Kaif. The two have delivered several hits like Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Welcome and De Dhana Dhan. Their’s is one of the most successful jodi’s of recent times. Vipul himself has cast them in his two successive films, Namastey London and Singh Is Kinng. Kat is also known as Akki’s lucky mascot. Now that Vipul has chosen Ash for his latest venture, comparisons are inevitable.

This Khan’t be! Big B mistaken for Shah Rukh
Mugdha Godse loves being at her own pace
To take it as a “compliment or not” that is the question on Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s mind, who was mistaken as Shah Rukh Khan at the Kuala Lampur International Airport (KLIA).
“Yes, it did play in my mind but not for much time”, Mugdha says after a pause, “But then as you also must be aware, there are so few projects that anyways kick started in the film industry last year. So many films have either stopped shooting or are completed but stuck for release. There are lot of things happening today and these are slightly fickle times. The thing is that since ALL THE BEST and JAIL released within a fortnight of each other, people feel that I have been missing from the scene for six months. If there was a gap of three months between the two films, the pace would have looked just perfect.”
Big B, as he is fondly called by his fans, was on his way back to Mumbai from Malaysia after a conference where an officer mistook him for Shah Rukh. “They (Malaysians) seem to be obsessed with our cinema and with our artists. One today, uniformed and medalled, walked past me in the crowded duty free, turned back after expressing some recognition and smiled - ‘Hello... Mr. Shah Rukh Khan’,” he added. The 67-year-old is now contemplating about how to take the unusual attribution. International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan poses with traditional Sri Lankan dancers at a press conference in Colombo on April 20, 2010. Sri Lanka will host top Indian movie stars for the annual ‘Bollywood Oscars’ weekend that showcases one of the world’s most ambitious and prolific film industry, officials. The three-day International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) event that runs from June 3-5.
“I am still debating in my head whether I should take this as a compliment or not. For the official to find absolute dedication in his name giving, sends me a healthy feeling,” he wrote.
Tanushree wants to
ROMANCE!
With her first psychological thriller APARTMENT getting her good reviews once again (after ROKKK), Tanushree is very happy. She says, “In just 5 years I have covered almost all genres as an actress - Romantic, negative, comedy, horror and thriller. That gives me a lot of satisfaction.” She goes to add, “You know, I just realized that it is almost five years since I last did a full-fledged romantic lead (in AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE opposite Emraan Hashmi). Now this is what I want to revisit again, that is do a romantic film. Although my next release RAMA-THE SAVIOUR will be an action film (another new genre!), but I am on the look out for a nice romantic role.”

Salman Comedy Queen! Khan at 45 W feels too old C Celina Jaitly is Bollywood’s
ith many Bollywood actresses experimenting and entering the comedy genre, Celina Jaitly has seen it and done it all. She is most certainly the “Queen of Comedy” in the industry. The stepping stone into comedy for this ex. Miss
India was NO ENTRY in which she played the role of Sanjana opposite Fardeen Khan. After a couple of other comedy releases, came GOLMAAL RETURNS, where in she played the role of Meera which further created her stand in this genre.
But that’s not enough for this sexy actress, she is raring to with her two new comedies - RUN BHOLA RUN and THANK YOU. With these films Celina will be working with the top comedy directors- Anees Bazmee and Neeraj Vora.
Sources say, “Celina is very excited for her next two releases and she simply loves doing comedy. Although she has done comedy before, these two movies are very different and people will see Celina in a very different look.” She has definitely won hearts with her characters. We can’t wait to see what this petite beauty has in store for us!
Salman Khan has caught the Twitterbug! Sallu starts with- “Tweetar ke do aagey tweetar tweeter ke do peechey tweetar aagey tweetar peechey tweetar arrey bolo kitney tweetar??!!”
all it living in the realm of reality. The flamboyant Salman Khan has no qualms accepting the fact at the age of 45 it won’t suit him to play the role of a young boy. The superstar recently rejected a script that was presented to him by a well known filmmaker’s assistant. Salman, after hearing out the script with complete attention politely refused to be part of the project. The reason: well, the actor feels that at his age of 45 it won’t suit him to play the role of a young boy anymore. Though the aspiring filmmaker returned disappointed, but he was happy that Salman suggested him the right thing may be at the cost of his own role.
Well, it seems Sallu Bhai is living his age in style and no one can be as honest with himself as he is now at this moment of his career.

Moview Preview The latest movie to hit the Indian junta is Rajneeti. Slated to be released on on 4th June 2010, Rajneeti is the sordid drama called Indian politics. Rajneeti tries to capture the essence of Indian Democracy in all its avatars. With a star studded list, Rajneeti can boast of a lot many raised eyebrows. We can draw parallels to the Congress bigwigs as well as the extreme Left. It dramatizes a lot of characters. Katrina plays the quintessential suffering but strong Bahu aka Sonia Gandhi while Nana Patekar as Brij Gopal is the Machiavelli of the nation. Naseruddin Shah as Bhaskar Sanyal is the epitome of the fire-brand leftist leader. He is the original believer of social justice. But he commits a personal mistake with statewide ramifications. Ajay Devgan as Sooraj is the messiah of the backward classes but succumbs to family pressure and unrequited loyalty. Manoj Bajpai as Veerendra Pratap is all about naked ambition to usurp the throne. Arjun Rampal as Prithvi Pratap is the perfect example when IQ does not match ambition. He wants to do good but gets entangled in the web of politics. Sarah Thompson as Sarah Jean Collins does her bit as the innocent yet all knowing Westerner. Ranbir Kapoor as Samar Kapoor outshines in his role for the abhorring yet blessed with an insight of intrigues. Katrina plays her part to the hilt and shows that she has arrived as a serious contender for a National Award. And while everyone is busy fighting the election campaign, it is the political intrigue which catches the viewers attention. It is a must watch movie. But it is not for the popcorn crowd. This is for the people who take pride in our desi cinema.

Katrina Kaif to play iconic beauty Madhubala Smitten by the iconic beauty’s affair with Kishore Kumar, the filmmaker has found a fitting lass in Katrina Kaif to reprise the role of Madhubala onscreen. After playing a tough politician in Raajneeti, Kat will now be seen essaying a role of a lifetime. According to sources, Katrina was finalised for the project after she opted out of Basu’s other film, Silence, in which she was to co-star with Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor. The interesting thing is that Kat has already started doing her homework for the role and watched Mughal-eAzam, Mahal and Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.
Ranbir-Katrina to the small screen!
Whatever may it be whether you name it romance or friendship between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif but they are inseparable as now they are planning to fire the platform of the Grand Finale ‘Dance India Dance’ in small screen for the first time. Reportedly it is heard that the grand finale of nation’s popular TV show organized by Zee TV will be the graced by the hot pair Ranbir and Katrina. On account of their appearance in small screen together, a source confirmed, “Kat and Ranbir will be accompanied by their co-star Ajay Devgn, and director Prakash Jha. You could make cracks at her, chase her with controversy or swamp her with compliments — it doesn’t matter. Deepika Padukone has no time to turn back and respond. She’s so caught up in a whirlwind of activities — from IPL matches and movie promotions to working on three movies back-to-back — that trivial things like men, masti and firing back at the media seems like wasted time and effort. In fact, the only place to catch her is on the movie sets. When her family and close friends miss her too much, they simply drop by at the shooting location for a quick cuppa chai with the gal. Such a starry life this one is, na? With no time for love, too. Or so we think...
Hope `Phoonk 3` is never made - Karan Johar Bollywood director Karan Johar hit out at filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, expressing hope that the latter`s third instalment in the scary franchise `Phoonk` is never made. “I have heard that Ram Gopal Varma has said that the scariest movie he has ever watched is (my) `Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna`... I haven`t watched `Phoonk` and `Phoonk 2` but I hope `Phoonk 3` is never made,” Johar told reporters in his signature tongueand-cheek fashion.

Ranbir Kapoor does a Salman Khan Ranbir Kapoor is fast becoming the most flamboyant style icon of this season. This becomes apparent from his sense of style which sometimes might include a naked torso too. Something similar happened while Ranbir was shooting for his soon to be released film
RAAJNEETI. According to our sources, Ranbir and Katrina along with filmmaker Prakash Jha and co-star Arjun Rampal used to play cricket post their daily pack up. While this became almost a norm, Ranbir used to get so involved in the game that many a times he simply forgot to wear his shirt. For those who don’t know, Ranbir is a good bowler. The actor used to forget wearing his shirt and would show up in his denims while playing his game. The source further adds, “Everyone enjoyed watching Ranbir play in his own style. His shirtless act would sometimes distract the rival team to an extent that they would eventually lose the game.” While Ranbir bares his torso off screen, hope he does a la Salman Khan soon on the silver screen too.

Shoaib pleads with media to stop hype over his marriage
Lalit Modi will fight his suspension
KARACHI: Pakistan’s former cricket captain Shoaib Malik has pleaded with the media to stop the hype surrounding his marriage with Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and allow them to live like a normal couple. Malik and Sania appeared together for the first time on a Pakistani channel tonight and the former said he was fed up with the hype over his marriage. “I am pleased to know that people are happy with our marriage but I think now it is time to stop this hype and let us live like a normal couple. I would request the media to leave alone both families,” he said. Malik said since he and Sania had reached Pakistan he had spent most of his time being her personal bodyguard rather then her husband. “Two people from different countries got married and it should only be treated as a marriage nothing more,” Malik told Ary News. Malik said while he was happy at the celebrations in Pakistan over his marriage but he was now tired of playing bodyguard to his wife in Pakistan. “I would ask the media to reduce the hype let our families enjoy this occasion as any family would celebrate a marriage. Because of all this hype I couldn’t even meet with my friends and relatives properly in the reception in Sialkot, it was a mad rush,” he said. Malik, who is presently serving a 12-month ban by the Pakistan Cricket Board, said while the media created the hype over the marriage it was not shy of playing up negative stories about them which was disappointing. “I can only laugh at stories in the media that invitation cards for our wedding reception were sold,” he added. “This thing about our wedding cards being sold it is laughable. Please don’t turn out wedding cards into credit cards,” Malik said.
An unidentified man, right, protects Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, left, and his wife Indian tennis star Sania Mirza as they arrive at a local hotel in Lahore, Pakistan on Friday, April 23.
Sania Mirza said she was surprised at all the hype in the media surrounding their marriage. “It is not like ours is a great big love story. Strangely we were introduced by a common friend from the media then I met him in Hobart and our families also met and we decided to get married,” she said. Since reaching Pakistan, there have been reports that Sania and her family have not been very pleased with the boisterous reception they have got and the unruliness witnessed whenever they have gone out or at the reception in Sialkot on Sunday night. So much so that Sania’s father Imran Mirza was said to be personally supervising all security arrangements for the Valima reception in Lahore on 28 April.

ustralia have struggled to come to terms with the demands of Twenty20 cricket but are taking steps to ensure they will not be embarrassed again in the West Indies.
BCCI Vice President and newly-appointed IPL cricket league chairman Chirayu Amin arrives for a meeting in Mumbai, India, Monday, April 26, 2010. The Indian Premier League’s governing council Monday appointed Amin as IPL’s interim chairman in place of suspended chief Lalit Modi, who is facing an inquiry over allegations of corruption.

The Australians were dumped from last year’s World Twenty20 in England in three days after chastening defeats by the West Indies and Sri Lanka and they were soundly beaten by India in the 2007 semi-final. But there are signs the Aussies, under new skipper Michael Clarke, are finally coming to terms with
shortest
They have won four of their five T20 internationals this year and are heading to the Caribbean confident of finally coming to grips with cricket’s immenselypopular hybrid. “This time around with Australia, we’re actually respecting the game of Twenty20 a lot more,” wicketkeeper Brad Haddin said. “Last time we went to the World Cup (in England) there was a lot of focus when we went over there for the Ashes. But this time we’re going to the West Indies with our sole focus being the World Twenty20. “And the way it is at the moment, it’s taking over the world so you’ve got to show the game the respect it deserves.”
Axed Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi will fight his suspension, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources. Modi had been suspended after graft accusations in cricket’s richest event ensnared top politicians and Bollywood stars and strained the ruling coalition. A defiant Modi said that this was just a suspension and he was still the chairman of the IPL. He signed off on a social networking website by putting the BCCI on notice, “We’ve just begun.” Following Modi’s suspension, Chirayu Amin, Baroda Cricket Association President, was appoined as the interim commissioner of IPL. Sources close to Modi said, “The suspension is illegal and based on a series of false allegations”
Afridi set for a roller-coaster ride Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi’s rollercoaster international career has reflected the fortunes of his team - brilliant, baffling and controversial. From the time in 1996 when he hit the fastest one-day century off 37 balls against Sri Lanka in Nairobi, Afridi has never been far from the headlines. “Pakistan are a team in the making at the moment and Shahid Afridi is quite a force in the shorter form of cricket,” said Pakistan Test legend Mushtaq Mohammad.
Lanka desperate to add T20 to collection Sri Lanka, world champions in the 50over format in 1996, are desperate to add the Twenty20 title to their collection in the Caribbean after a series of nearmisses. Captain Kumar Sangakkara’s men lost the World T20 championship by eight wickets to Pakistan at the Lords last year. Two years earlier, the Sri Lankans lost to Australia in the final of the World Cup while the same opponents went on to deny them a semi-final place in the inaugural World Twenty20 later in 2007. “Our focus is to bring the cup home this time after we lost to Pakistan last year. A Twenty20 World Cup will be good for our collection,” said team manager Anura Tennakoon.

eck pain is one of the most common problems that one encounters in day to day life. Most people will experience neck pain at some point in their life. It is very important to attempt to ascertain the facts that can cause it. Ayurveda believes a thorough knowledge of the structure and functioning of the neck has become essential to understand and hence successfully treat neck pain and other neck related problems. In Ayurveda Neck pain or cervical spondylosis is considered as “Greeva Sandhi Gatha Vata” Cervical spondylosis may be caused by one or more of several complaints, and this is one among main reasons for the neck pain or neck discomfort. Cervical Spondylosis can come from a number of disorders and diseases of any structures in neck. Neck pain can be caused by an injury, muscular problem or by trapped nerve between vertebrae. According to Ayurveda, vata (Air Humor) is the responsible factor for any pain, aggravation of vata in the neck area results stiffness, pain, nerve compression, and crackling sound from the joint. The typical symptoms of cervical spondylosis include » Pain in back of the neck spreading at times to the base of the skull
shoulder, down your arms to hands and fingers, chest and forehead. » The movement of the spine or hands generally aggravates the pain of the neck. » Stiffness of the neck and even paraplegia (Paralysis) may occur due to this condition. » An increased risk of other injuries to your neck. » Crunching sounds with movement of the neck or shoulder muscles. » Numbness and tingling in the arms, hands and fingers, some loss of feeling in the hands and impairment of reflexes. » In an aggravated state it may present with nausea, blurred vision, and may also be associated with induced tendency of vomiting. » Dizziness and Blackouts (if there is pressure on the vertebral artery ) fatigue and irritability. » With advanced disease, loss of bladder control and leg weakness. » May feel irritable and fatigue, disturb sleep and impair the ability to work. » Headaches, which often start at the back of the head, just above the neck, before moving over the top to the forehead.
» Difficulty in swallowing. » It is often associated with loss of memory. » A loss of balance, fear of falling. » Muscle weakness and deterioration, diminished reflexes. » General tiredness and anxiety - can be present. » Cervical Spondolysis, a wear and tear of the vertebrae and discs in the neck can be a professional hazard with computer operators, clerks, officer workers and it is very important to manage the same at the earliest. AYURVEDIC TREATMENT: Ayurveda is the Vedic system of health care that developed in India over 5000 years ago, which is a natural therapy, hence it has no side effect or any complications Computer and other professionals whose work demands lot of work sitting on a chair in a bent down posture causing undue strain on the vertebral column tend to be more affected by Cervical Spondylosis, which is a special type of arthritis which affects the vertebrae of the neck region. Ayurvedic treatment for this condition mainly involves both internal and external treatments, followed by some
diet and life style related suggestions which can able accommodate according to the individual needs. Some Ayurvedic tips to control the neck pain: Hot fomentation on the vertebrae of neck, would be helpful for relief from cervical pain. Add 500gms of salt on a big cloth, and place this on a frying pan until it gets heated up. This can then be applied on the neck (but, it should not be so hot as to cause burns). This can be done for halfan-hour a day, and ensure that the affected part is not exposed to cold wind just after hot fomentation. Avoid foods with sour taste, and other fried foods, but, bitter variety of vegetables such as neem flowers, drumstick, and bittergourd are recommended to be a part of diet of such patients. Exposure to cold, such as cold bathe, violent neck muscle exercise, wrong posture while reading or writing or working, should be avoided. Wear a scarf around the neck when going out of the house.

An MSNBC.com report cites an example of a naval aviator student who would break out into hysterical laughter during odd moments. He would also laugh in his sleep in the middle of the night. Later, it turned out, that he was suffering from a rare form of epileptic episode called gelastic seizure, reports the New York Daily News . According to Robert Provine, author of ‘Laughter: A Scientific Investigation’ and a psychology professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, tagging ill-timed outbursts of laughing or crying an involuntary emotional expression disorder isn’t quite right. “All laughter is uncontrollable in the sense that we don’t laugh, or cry, on command,” he says. “Laughter is really unconsciously controlled. We go through life making these uncontrollable utterances.” “We can try to stop laughing since it can get us into trouble when we laugh at the wrong time,” Provine says. “But it’s very hard to produce convincing laughter on command.”

Dark chocolate good for liver disease patients
D
octors could soon be prescribing a dose of dark chocolate to help patients with liver disease, according to a new Spanish research. The study suggests that dark chocolate can benefit patients suffering from liver cirrhosis and from dangerously high blood pressure in their abdomen. It contains potent antioxidants, which reduce the post-prandial (after-meal) blood pressure in the liver (or portal hypertension)
associated with damaged liver blood vessels (endothelial dysfunction). “As well as advanced technologies and high science, it is important to explore the potential of alternative sources which can contribute to the overall wellbeing of a patient,” Professor Mark Thursz, MD FRCP, Vice Secretary of EASL and Professor of Hepatology, at Imperial College London said. Cirrhosis is scarring of the liver as a result of long-term, continuous damage to the liver.
In cirrhosis, circulation in the liver is damaged by oxidative stress and reduced antioxidant systems. After eating, blood pressure in the abdominal veins usually increases due
to increased blood flow to the liver. Thus, eating dark chocolate may ultimately prevent this potential threat to cirrhotic patients.
FAST FOOD makes us impatient F
ast food is not only bad for health, it can trigger impatience and hasty behaviour in people, a new study has found.
The original idea behind fast food is to increase efficiency, allowing people to quickly finish a meal so they can move on to other matters. Now, researchers at the University of Toronto have found that the mere exposure to fast food and related symbols can make people impatient, increasing preference for time saving products, and reducing willingness to save. “Fast food represents a culture of time efficiency and instant gratification,” said Chen-Bo Zhong, who co-wrote the paper with colleague Sanford DeVoe.
May 2010 Edition
“The problem is that the goal of saving time gets activated upon exposure to fast food regardless of whether time is a relevant factor in the context,” Bo Zhong added.
In one experiment, the researchers flashed fast food symbols, such as the golden arch of McDonald’s, on a computer screen for a few milliseconds, so quick that participants couldn’t consciously identify what they saw. They found that this unconscious exposure increased participants’
reading speed in a subsequent task compared to those in a control condition, even when there was no advantage to finishing sooner. In another study, participants who recalled a time when they eat at a food restaurant subsequently preferred time-saving products— such as two-in-one shampoo— over regular products. A final experiment found people exposed to fast food logos exhibited greater reluctance for saving —choose a smaller immediate payment rather than opting for a much larger delayed payment.

COMMON AILMENTS IN CHILDHOOD Homeopathic Help
Dr. Raj Kothuru
C
25b
hildren’s medication has a definite impact on their growing bodies.
It is true that in the last fifty years or so, the health and lifestyle patterns of kids have undergone a dramatic change. Though children of today are fortunate enough to have escaped dangerous life threatening diseases of those days like Small Pox, Whooping cough, etc they has never been a period more worse than now. Allergies, food intolerance, Asthma, Ezcema, mental sickness, unexplained disorders, behaviour disorders, low energy levels and other newly evolved dangerous diseases, previously unknown have certainly reduced their quality of life. But we just silently accept this as the price we have to pay for the unparalleled development of science and technology. Well, coming to the current situation today, our children fall sick sometimes and they need medication to put them right back on track. This has to be done with the least amount of interference and keep side effects to the very least possible. There are different systems of medication available and the good thing is that our society has been very open minded to welcome them with both arms.
Traditional medicine administered by the GPs and surgery has always been unmatched when it is a question of emergency. But what about the other times? As a Homeopathic practitioner, and a strong believer in nature, spirituality and philosophy, my belief is that – what you put in is what you get out. This is an extremely powerful statement. Try it for yourself. One can apply this statement to most of the situations of human life. What a farmer sows that is what he reaps. Results depend on the amount of effort you put in. Love is built strongly with what you put into it. So is health. Essentially, any medicine administered to children must be free from harmful effects. What you feed the body, that is what makes it strong or weak, healthy or sick. Homeopathy and natural medicine does not pollute the body. Homoeopathic medicines prepared mainly from herbs,
are
vegetable kingdom and minerals and are given in very minute doses just to stimulate the immune system without any adverse effects whatsoever. This means that it does not hamper digestion, does not lower resistance power, does not produce allergy and does not harm even if taken for longterm. Effective prevention and holistic treatment are the best methods for managing acute and recurrent health problems. Proper nutrition, avoidance of toxic drugs, herbal protocols, Homeopathic medicines, Ayurvedic medicines and chiropractic
adjustment, gentle allergy elimination techniques such as NAET etc can all play a role in preventing, treating, and eliminating these illnesses that plague our children. BENEFITS OF HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE TO CHILDREN: Homeopathy provides gentle, non toxic, side effect free and effective treatment for illness. It strengthens the child’s immune system resulting in the child not falling sick often. Homeopathic medicines being sweet in taste are happily taken by children. Even a new born baby can be administered with Homeopathic medicines. Also, children being more accepting and unpolluted (in comparison), respond quicker to Homeopathy. If you are taking prescribed drugs or undergoing any other treatment it is important that you maintain the relationship you have with your G.P for advice from time to time. Homeopathy is very effective for recurring ear infections, coughs, colds, teething. It provides successful treatment for illness that causes parents far more concern such as: ALLERGIES such as milk, other foods, additives, chemicals, animal hair, pollens, dust, sunlight ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER (ADHD), autism. BEHAVIOURAL DISORDERS temper tantrums, lack of concentration, learning difficulties, hyperactivity, night terrors, anxiety, fear, shyness and stammering.
RECURRING COLDS, tonsillitis, ear infections, sinusitis, rhinitis, Adenoids Croup, ASTHMA, coughs, chest infections DIGESTIVE COMPLAINTS such as constipation, diarrhoea, colic, appetite changes, weight loss and gain ECZEMA, psoriasis, warts, verruca’s, acne and other skin complaints ENURESIS (bed wetting) GROWING PAINS SLEEP DISORDERS - insomnia, restlessness, nightmares, night terrors SLOW DEVELOPMENT - physical and mental/or emotional TEETHING, growth disorders TONSILLITIS, laryngitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis WORM INFESTATIONS A carefully selected medicine based on this
holistic approach helps to overcome the above mentioned health conditions and many other health issues of unknown origin in children. Time has come that every healthconscious parent should recognize the scope and role of Homoeopathic science for day to day problems. In conditions where other systems of medicine fail or have little scope and if you are looking for a natural, safe, gentle, non-toxic and effective alternative, you should think of Homeopathy. You may ask your personal query to Raj Kothuru (Homeopath) via email drraj@aurahealth.com.au or by phone 0425 761 826 / (03) 9077 5044 regarding your health problems. You will be offered authentic information and an opinion as to what best can be done pertaining to your ailment.

Building your first home can be a daunting experience but this is where Mr. Randeep S. Virdi from 1st Property came to my rescue. He was instrumental in finding the perfect block of land for me and negotiating the best deal in my favour. The highlight is the fact that his engagement did not stop at that. You won't find a Indian American doctor killed by former husband, world's tallest girl told Chinese colleague M arvadene Anderson, a US resident who is said to be the world's tallest teenage girl at 6 feet 11 inches, says the rudest thing that she has ever been told is that she won't "be able to ďŹ nd a husband".
WASHINGTON: They are among the most prized immigrants in US academia from two Asian giants that send them in droves to America. For the most part, Indians and Chinese in the US academia and workplace engage in friendly rivalry with a kind of ďŹ erce work ethic that Americans envy and fear. For years, I-C in America has come to mean Indians-Chinese as much as Integrated Circuit. But the gunshots that rang out on a lovely spring morning in Branford, Connecticut, introduced a terrible bloodstain into this equation. At the end of the shooting, Dr Vajinder Toor, 34, a postdoctoral clinical fellow at the Yale School of Medicine, lay dead in the parking lot outside his home even as his pregnant wife cowered nearby.
Police, who were alerted to the shooting by neighbours, detained Dr Lishan Wang, 44, a Chinese national from Beijing who was eeing the scene in a burgundy colored minivan. He is being charged with murder, criminal
"People are friendly with me because of my height and my personality. If I was tall and mean, I think I'd have a problem," The Telegraph quoted Anderson .

Lishan Wang, 44, allegedly riddled Toor with bullets as he walked to his car outside his condominium in Branford, Conn.
Yale doctor Vajinder Toor with his family, pictured in an image taken from Facebook, was shot after being ambushed outside his home.
"The rudest thing anybody ever said about my height is that I'm not going to be able to ďŹ nd a husband." Anderson, who is studying at Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey, is a terror for opposition teams across the state when she plays for the school basketball team. JJ Quenault, her school teacher, said: "Marvadene is wonderful addition to the school and the basketball team here. The other girls were stunned by her height when they ďŹ rst met her and I must admit so was I, but now she is almost irreplaceable in the team. CID sleuths reveal that Swami Nithyananda would routinely smuggle 24 carat gold from the US. There seems to be no end to the number of crime that sex swami Nithyananda is believed to be involved in. The CID sleuths revealed that the 33-year-old Swami Nithyananda used to smuggle 24 carat gold weighing several kilograms from the US. According to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Swami Nithyananda used visit the US quite often. During his visits, he used to carry objects that looked like gold. Soon after reaching there, he used to get models the objects made out of pure 24 carat gold and brought it to India. DRI officials suspect that Ma Nithyananda Gopika, swami's PA, helped him in the racket "He usually got things made in form of rosaries and sandals that he used to wear while returning to India," reads a DRI letter that was sent to the Bangalore airport authorities.
The letter also mentions that Swami Nithyananda misused his image of a spiritual guru to smuggle gold. According to the officials, the swami believed that he'd be never caught, as the custom officials never bothered to check him when he used to go on spiritual trips. DRI officials had also issued a look out circular to all the airports soon after sex swami went into hiding. The DRI sleuths suspect that Nityananda could have used the same technique for smuggling precious stones as well.
Founder of the Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar hit out at Nithyananda for bringing disrepute to Hindu seers. He said Nithyananda had violated UN AIDS guidelines as well as the rules of tantra.
Besides, the officials suspect that Ma Nithyananda Gopika, sex swami's personal assistant, helped him in the smuggling racket.
'Claiming to be a monk and using so many people for one's pleasure is unpardonable,'' he said.

POOJA BOSE to play pivotal role in Imagine TV’s next show
TV actress Pooja Bose is to play pivotal role in Imagine TV’s next show. However, the actress who has been famous for Tujh Sangh Preet Lagai Sajna, says that she has not signed yet. All eyes are on Balaji Telefilms as it gears to launch a slew of shows this summer. A few days back we’d given brief details on their NDTV Imagine show. News has it that Pooja Bose aka Vrinda of Tujh Sangh Preet Lagai Sajna fame has been finalized to play a pivotal character in the show.
TUJH SANGH PREET LAGAI SAJNA fame: POOJA BOSE
“As Vrinda of Tujh sangh preet lagayi sajna fame, Pooja Bose became very popular with the viewers. So, Balaji wants to cast her for their new show on Imagine. Pooja Bose will be playing the lead protagonist’s younger sister. The lead though is still to be finalized.” Sources though insist that’s Pooja’s well on board. She had given the look test few days back. Lead or parallel lead, it doesn’t matter. Pooja Bose’s fans will certainly welcome her back.
Sonam & Imran’s romance gets ‘dirty’ It seems that the onscreen romance between the lead pair of the under production movie I Hate Luv Stories, i.e Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor, went for a real toss! It so happened that the duo was filming a romantic song in New Zealand’s countryside and were supposed to run to each other, and fall into a long embrace. Sonam was then asked to lean on Imran’s arms, reminding the audience of the signature Raj Kapoor-Nargis Dutt pose from the RK movies. Director Punit Malhotra wasn’t impressed with the first few takes, so he asked Imran and Sonam to lend more grace to the move, which tired out Imran. However, it ended up being a total disaster as Sonam rushed into his arms and Imran leaned back with a little gush of enthusiasm, thus losing his grip. Both the actors lost their balance and came down with a thud. To make matters worse, Sonam fell on some cow dung left back by a cattle grazing nearby. Poor Sonam had to immediately rush for a shower. The only saving grace was that the actress’ costume, which got spoilt in the bargain, was not needed in any other shots. Guess magic like Raj Kapoor’s can’t be created, it just happens on it’s own!

INDIAN OFFICIALS
New Delhi: Diplomat Madhuri Gupta, arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan, joins a list of several top Indian officials accused of leaking sensitive information or falling into honey trap in the past few decades. The last such case is that of Navy officer Commodore Sukhjinder Singh, now being probed for his alleged liaison with a Russian woman between 2005 and 2007 -when he was posted in Russia as the head of Indian team overseeing the refit of aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov. A board of inquiry, set up against Singh after his objectionable photographs with the unidentified woman surfaced, is now probing whether his "loose moral conduct"

and indiscretions have any connections with the Gorshkov deal which has been signed after a lot of negotiations due to the cost hike of the carrier. In May 2008, a senior Indian Embassy official in Beijing was called back to New Delhi for falling to the charms of a Chinese honey trap. Manmohan Sharma, a senior Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer, was alleged to be in a romantic affair with his Chinese language teacher. Indian authorities suspected the woman could be an informant of the Chinese government and gathered information about India's moves and counter-moves on the border talks.
In October 2007, a 1975 batch Research and Analysis Service (RAS) officer Ravi Nair was called back from Hong Kong for his 'friendship' with a girl believed to be working for a Chinese spy agency. However, within a brief time Nair was again given a foreign posting in Colombo where the woman also came and allegedly started staying with him, raising suspicion. Then a personal assistant to a very senior RAW official disappeared in London in the early 90s. Ashok Sathe, another official was also

believed to have defected to the US after his mysterious disappearance. Sathe was said to be behind burning down of RAW office in Khurramshahr in Iran. In the early 1980s, a senior field officer disappeared in London. As attache in Kathmandu, he was alleged to be liaisoning with foreign intelligence agencies. In another case, a senior Intelligence Bureau (IB) official, who was due to take over as the chief of counterintelligence, had an "unauthorised" relationship with a female US consular officer. His meetings with her were recorded on camera by the IB, and he was forced to retire following interrogation. However, in the history of Indian intelligence, the most written about case was that of K V Unnikrishnan, a RAW officer dealing with the LTTE. He had developed a relationship with an air hostess believed to be an intelligence scion. He was arrested just ahead of a peace accord signed between India and Sri Lanka. The oldest case of 'honey trapping', when an Indian diplomat during the time of the first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru was trapped by a Russian girl in Moscow.
In the early 90s, an Indian Naval attache posted in Islamabad reportedly fell in love with a Pakistani woman working in the Military Nursing Service in Karachi. The attache was interrogated and then forced to resign. Reports said the official, who had initially claimed having recruited the woman as a spy, was being blackmailed by the ISI, which wanted his services after his return to the Naval Headquarters in Delhi. When the Russian spy agency KGB presented him with the pictures of his activities with the girl, the diplomat informed his ambassador about his relationship and the KGB's attempts to blackmail him. The ambassador raised the issue with Nehru, who was himself in charge of the External Affairs Ministry. Nehru just laughed it off, warning the young diplomat to be more careful in future.

Woman spy in India’s Pak mission arrested
Madhuri Gupta They finally caught Madhuri Gupta. But she was surprised they took so long. The 54year-old Indian diplomat in the Islamabad high commission has been arrested for spying for Pakistan. They were two years too late though, Gupta told investigators. Gupta was arrested from her house in east Delhi by a team of Delhi Police Special Cell and counter-intelligence operatives after she arrived in the Capital from Islamabad on April 23. This is the first time a woman diplomat has been arrested for spying. The official had been summoned to India ostensibly for helping with the SAARC summit, in Bhutan. She might never return, if the true purpose of her trip was disclosed to her, said investigators. Gupta was produced in a court the same day and sent into police custody for four days, which was over on Monday, when she was produced again in a Tis Hazari court and ordered to stay with the police. She is in the custody of the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.

How to be more
LIKEABLE? Your likeability determines your success in both professional and personal lives. So pay attention to how you look because it will help you in making a good impression on others. Telegraph UK reports that if you want to make the right impression on people, keep the following tips in mind:
DRESS WELL: First
impressions are formed instantly and physical appearance plays a big part. In the medium to longterm, people base their liking of a person on other traits and will discount their physical "ideal" if the body language appeals.
SMILE: When you smile, other
people feel good. It doesn't have to be full-wattage all the time. Just sincere. Even when things are not going too well and you force a smile, the empathetic person picks this up and is able to delve into reasons for your mixed feelings.
EXPRESSION IN THE EYES: This comes high in the
likeability ratings. Eye contact shows you are interested in someone, both in general situations and in romantic ones.
May 2010 Edition
The expression in your eyes conveys a lot and people can detect levels of warmth, sympathy and concern.
BE A GOOD LISTENER:
 .
BE YOURSELF Do not shy away from the opportunity to talk and make friends. And NEVER do what other people tell you to do. Be confident and make sure you always stay true to yourself.
17a
A cuddle is 'better than sex'
More than 50 per cent of people in a survey have said they prefer a kiss and cuddle to sex in a relationship.
How you respond to other people is sometimes more important than all the traits listed above. When women talk to other women they tend to be more animated: they nod at appropriate times and may make facial expressions to convey empathy.
The survey claims sex comes after commitment, companionship and humour in a successful relationship. Surprisingly, it is men who are more than happy to smooch on a sofa rather than romp in the bedroom, reports express. co.uk.
Men tend to have a problem with focus, so the theme of a conversation gets lost and the responses are off-key. In addition, men don't tend to give so many visual clues to show that they are listening. If you are a man, try responding with your body to what's being said - it will help you focus. If you come across as a person who listens, other people want to gravitate towards you.
Researchers for healthcare giant Bayer even blame social networking internet sites such as Facebook and Twitter for making people less intimate with each other as they conduct long-distance relationships. Meanwhile, Christine Webber, a sex and relationships expert has warned that the lack of intimacy can endanger any relationship.

M MAKE YOUR FIRST NIGHT MEMORABLE
ost couples nurse nervous speculations and deep seated performance anxiety about their first night of closeness. Hearsay from newly wed friends or common beliefs picked up from random sources add to the sexual tension. Knowing the exact way to get it right is an arduous task and if gone wrong, you may end up facing a catastrophic situation in your bedroom with your first nuptial booboos. Boo-boo: A moment in haste and its all waste Without much knowledge about sex, couples encountered awkward situations like premature ejaculation for men or women getting overtly apprehensive about vaginal pain and hymen bleeding. Fear is the biggest factor affecting performance on the first night. Top Tip: Make the act more pleasurable No person is a master sex performer, so indulge in a prolonged foreplay
session to make your first night a tender bonding experience. Even if things go wrong, stay calm and try again after some time. Sometimes the wedding stress and the discomfort of an all new environment takes a mental toll. The body and mind may not be fully open for the experience of sexual discovery. Being patient is key.
We spoke to some couples to know the common blunders they made (inadvertently) on their first night. Of course, it wasn't just about 'sex' on the first night, as there were numerous other problems which could ruin the first night craze...
Boo-boo: Experiments can wait
Boo-boo: Look sexy in tradition
Agreed that it's your first time with your partner, but don't get overtly excited. Couples are all geared up to try new acts in bed, but first try and figure out your partner's comfort quotient.
It's believed that a bride must remain in her wedding outfit and let the husband come and lift up the veil (‘ghoongat’). But modern day brides aren't too interested in donning the ostentatious outfit for too long and the minute they enter the bedroom; they prefer to undress into a sexy lingerie/night gown. Now, no matter how sensuous your night gown maybe, it doesn't have the same charm as a wedding ensemble. This fashion faux pas forms a lesser known, but common goof-up for brides.
Top Tip: Every night is a first night Don't think that the first night is your 'one and only' chance to make love passionately, with time your bond will grow even more special with your better half. The first night is just the beginning of pleasures. Don't fret and waste it in performance anxiety!

The plans are part of a restructuring instigated by Fiat, and will see a new, range-topping version of the 612 Scaglietti join the Ferrari lineup next year. According to Autocar, an open-top 458 will also arrive in 2011, followed by the god-like Enzo's replacement in 2012. A 599 GTB has also been confirmed for 2012, with a California facelift and a 458 Scuderia coming later in 2013. Other than confirming their schedule Ferrari did not release any further details of the new models. It is not even certain that the hardcore 458 will take the Scuderia name used by its predecessor, although this does seems likely. However, despite this flood of new models from the Italian manufacturer the announcement confirmed that Ferrari will not make more than four production cars at the same time - the 458 and 599 supercars, and the 612 and California cruisers. The Enzo is, quite rightly, considered to be a special case and is not included in these plans and will be made as a 'halo' model.

ord is previewing a possible future direction of urban transportation with the Start concept car at the Beijing motor show.
The four-passenger concept features lightweight composite body panels, flush-mounted glass and underbody pan to improve efficiency and aerodynamics. Styling touches include see-through C-pillars, a wraparound rear window for a 180-degree view and a removable roof panel to give owners a customizable accessory. To control in-car functions, a smart phone can be paired with a new MyFord Mobile Concept system. Ford says the Start isn't headed for production, but the company is interested in feedback on the design. What will see production is the 1.0-liter EcoBoost I3 under the hood. Mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the turbocharged I3 delivers power equivalent to a 1.6-liter I4, according to Ford, and will find its way into future small-car applications.
The Ford Start concept is powered by a three-cylinder EcoBoost engine that will be used in production cars.

Microsoft pulls ad on 'SEXTING' ALLEGATIONS Microsoft would take a form of digital abuse and position it as 'cool and hip' in order to sell a new product that is directly targeted to a teen audience
BANGALORE: India’s personal computer (PC) industry, which has just emerged from the woods, is looking at a rosy road ahead. PC vendors and analysts see three triggers for a strong sales boost this year: Brisk manpower addition, especially in the IT/ITeS sector, PC refresh cycle at enterprises and government-buying, particularly for e-governance projects across the country.
M
icrosoft has announced its decision to pull a controversial advert for its new Kin line of phones after complaints emerged that it
promotes "sexting" among teens. The advert shows a man in a club taking a photo under his T-shirt using a Kin phone and sharing it with his friends. Thereafter, a young
And now Microsoft has issued a statement saying the company views the issue of sexting "very seriously" and had never intended to promote it in any way. It said the advert was meant to capture "the energy and playfulness of the generation of social communicators.” Microsoft said, "We have received feedback that one of the Kin lifestyle videos has a scene that did not come across in the spirit it was intended. "Upon further review we have acknowledged that and since removed the clip."
Can 3D TVs swing it ? P
lasma display panel (PDP) technology makers are pinning high hopes on the emerging but uncertain 3D TV market to claw back market share after falling behind popular LCD or liquid crystal flat screen backers. LCD display has led the replacement of cathode-ray tube (CRT) television, as its technological edge over PDP in producing smaller sizes helped it attract consumers trading in their bulky and boxy CRT sets. "PDP won't be able to challenge LCD as a mainstream flat panel technology as LCD also continues
to evolve into better one," said Will Cho, an analyst at Daewoo Securities. “Having said that, it still does have strength over LCD, especially in 3D market.” So the stronger 3D market grows, the better PDP technology will be able to recover," he said. PDP has been a choice of technology in large sized panels over 40 inches, although LCDs are rapidly expanding into the market with free-falling prices.' Plasma makers are making a last-ditch effort on 3D TVs, which usually come in big size screens where Plasma scores on pricing

It’s not just the PC vendors, the entire spectrum of the IT industry benefits from rising computer sales. More PC purchases translate into more purchases of network equipment, software licences and peripheral devices, besides sys-tem integration work for IT services players. Frenetic hiring in the IT industry, as well as in the broader economy, is expected to boost computer sales. National Association of Software and Services Companies, India’s IT industry lobby, sees a staff addition of 1,50,000 this year. Diptarup Chakraborti, principal research analyst, Gartner, sees a “definite correlation” between hiring and PC sales. “Industries have been hiring in the last two quarters. The IT industry always hires today for tomorrow. So, they will buy PCs today to ready the infrastructure for tomorrow,” he noted.

However, if Plasma takes off, then Panasonic, which is making the strongest push for Plasma technology, might emerge as the biggest winner. "We believe plasma TVs are the best device to offer 3D images thanks to its high response speeds...and all this attention on 3D TVs is a strong tailwind for our plasma business," said Toshihiko Shibuya, a spokesman
for Panasonic, the world's top PDP set maker. Demand for 3D TVs will likely grow more than tenfold to 27.4 million units in 2013 from an estimated 2.5 million units this year, according to DisplaySearch. The research firm expects the ratio of Plasma TVs to LCD models in the 3D TV market to come to one to three in 2013, indicating relatively strong standing of plasma TVs in the 3D arena. ITS CHEAP TOO ! A 42 inch LCD panel costs around $340, while the samesized Plasma panel is 40 per cent cheaper at around $200, according o analysts at Citigroup.
AIIMS officials said that the hospital has initiated a drive to maximise the use of Robot so that maximum number of patients can be benefited. Facilities and programmes are being developed to do the advance robotic surgery on prostate, urinary bladder and kidney besides other robotic operations to offer state-of-the art surgical technology to patients suffering from various urological diseases. Robotic surgery at AIIMS is being done on a regular basis and now its use has been extended in a wide spectrum of diseases in the field of Urology and other specialities. The officials said that the department of Urology is developing a training programme in robotic surgery, including the virtual simulation system for imparting this skill to future robotic surgeons.

B-town's hottest couple and leading stars of the film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan unveiled the music of RAAVAN in a grand event held at Yash raj studios. The highlight of the event was Aishwarya Rai, draped in white colour saree with red embroidery, who as the compere for the evening in compliance with the director's wishes, introduced the film and its stars. While introducing the film, she disclosed how RAAVAN was conceived, "Mani sir came up with the concept of RAAVAN, while shooting for the film GURU. I remember I was dancing in full abundance in the rain for the song 'Nanna re' and little did I know that Mani was in the process of making a decision, that I will be his new character Ragini for RAAVAN." After detailing us about her character, she then introduced her yet another co-star in RAAVAN, Vikram, South superstar, who makes his debut in Bollywood with this film. Vikram would be seen in both the versions of RAAVAN Hindi & Tamil. Meanwhile, RAAVAN was getting ready to reveal one of his many avatars. And here came Abhishek giving a stunning dance

The father son duo have a hundred percent success record and uncle Rajesh has always stood up to the occasion and come out of hibernation to compose chartbusters for Hrithik. Blockbuster films like KAHO NA PYAAR HAI, KOI... MIL GAYA and KRISHH all had memorable or good music. In fact the music of KAHO NA PYAAR HAI and KMG is still popular amongst the youth. And going by the trend this should continue with KITES, a truly international film with Spanish star, the vivacious and pretty Barbara Mori. But this is for the first time that a film starring Hrithik (under their banner Filmkraft) is being directed not by his father but Anurag Basu, another super successful director (MURDER, GANGSTER and LIFE...IN A METRO). Anurag too has ears for good, classy music and all his previous films had some lovely songs to boast of. So, with gargantuan expectations we go ahead and savour the musical

Also present to grace the grandiose occasion, were filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra & Shaad Ali (the former assistant of Mani Ratnam) and Ravi Kishan and other cast & crew members of the film.
Rating: offering that these super creative minds have for us. It's a typical Rajesh Roshan soft, sentimental love ditty (that we are so used over the years) that opens the album and so naturally when we come across 'Zindagi Do Pal Ki' its nostalgia revisited. Rendered to perfection by K.K in his highly lovable high pitched style, the beauty of the song lies not in its catchy 'mukhda' but its beautifully paced 'antara' that is absolutely magical as it unfolds slowly and yet manages to grasp the attention of the listener. The number is not entirely a romantic offering but its semi philosophical in its outlook too, and that is what makes it unique and special. Veteran lyricist Nasir Faraaz , who is a regular with the Roshan camp, has done an outstanding job of combing the two themes and coming up with a song that is way above the ordinary as was the demand of the situation. The old world charm is prevalent (with traces of R.D. Burman- Kishore classic , ' O Hansini Meri Hansini' from ZEHREELA INSAAN ) throughout the composition which is laced with beautiful harmonica and soft synth instruments. A superb composition first up!
Music executives are reportedly impressed by the actress’ singing skills and hope to record another one with her, this time the album being that of love songs. As of now, fans will have to make do with an album featuring songs for kids. Katrina states that it's a fun album for kids, something that she always wanted to do in order to deepen her connectivity with kids. She had a great time recording the numbers. She believes that it’s important to make sure one’s charity efforts are well-utilized. She wants to help causes where she can see an immediate result and agreed to do the album as it’s going into building a toddlers' school. Recording songs for children has had a deep impact on the actress. She admits she would like to have children of her own. After working for 4-5 more years in the industry, she intends to get married and have babies.

Udita rules her
‘bold’ tag M
ODEL-TURNED-ACTRESS Udita Goswami feels she has not got her due in Bollywood, which she is worthy of after doing quality work in films like Rokk and Paap. “I haven’t got my due in Bollywood which I should have got till now. I have given films, done meaningful roles that not all actresses get. I feel the reason for my being on the backfoot could be that I don’t believe in public relation practices, which have become a regular routine for any celebrity,” Udita said in an interview. “But that is something that I can’t do, there are certain things that I don’t want to change about myself. I do my work with all honesty and there is no scope for short-cuts or cheating.”
A
n independent co-production between the USA and India, directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch, film HISSS, which has already been in news for its hot and bold promos featuring Mallika Sherawat has something more to offer than just being a freaking horror journey. The film which also casts Indian actress Divya Dutta in one of the most important roles has let Divya and Mallika find sensuality in their own styles. Where Mallika will be seen in a full glam avatar as always, showing off her super curvaceous body and wooing audiences with her groovy looks, Divya on the other hand, will be seen in some sensuous scenes which are far more subtle in appeal but yet too hot to resist. The Buzz is that both these glam girls are going to go to Cannes Film Festival this year in May where the look of their film will be unveiled. What we have to now see is how they set the Cannes on fire with their own kind of sensual appeals.
The 26-year-old, whose latest movie Chase released recently said she makes it a point not to repeat her roles but is still type cast to a specific genre. “I have been doing all kind of roles, but still I have been type cast with this ‘bold tag’.” “The only thing that I think I have not done is a happy romantic kind of film... romantic comedy. I know it is strange since most of the actresses have done something like that and not done the kind of films that I have done. I want to actually do something that is so common. I’m really looking forward to doing a happy romantic film now.” Udita started her career in modelling and then moved to acting in 2003 with her debut film Paap directed by Pooja Bhatt. After that she appeared in Zeher with Emraan Hashmi and Shamita Shetty.
SHAHID’S Sanjay Dutt gets mobbed BACK-TOBACK FLOPS! Sanjay Dutt surely has some fan following to talk about. On his recent visit to the Dargah in Ajmer Shareef, Sanjay Dutt was mobbed by the crowd who wanted to catch a glimpse of him.
According to our sources, Sanjay Dutt was visiting the shrine to seek some divine blessings. As soon as the news of his presence spread, a huge crowd gathered outside the Dargah to meet him. Everyone demanded a jaadu ki jhappi from the actor. While that was not possible looking at the number of people, Dutt politely shook hands with as many of them as possible. Finally, the police had to intervene to get Dutt out of the crowd.

And, for the unwary, this could indeed become reality, but it really needn’t be the case for travelers on a budget! With a little forward planning, you can find that less can indeed be more in the world of cheap travel; a bit of extra cash in your pocket can mean another week (or even two) of travels and adventures.

Ways to Save Money on Your Vacation
T
he majority of people frequently find that the act of going to a new and exotic location for various leisure activities is a much anticipated happening. Whether the time of the year is for business travel, a Christmas holiday or for that matter any special trip you need only to determine that it would be a great time to go on a vacation and simply pack up. The problem which surfaces in these situations is that can be an costly proposition. Not everybody can afford to purchase an airplane ticket or can they pay to book a deluxe hotel or in some cases they just do not have the required funds to spend when they get to their chosen destination for their planned vacation. If you know where to look for it traveling does not have to be expensive. If this idea interests you then by all means continue reading this article.
1. Use the 'net! People with access to the Internet
will find it simple to look for affordable travel offerings ranging from airlines, hotels, villas for rent, cruises or even automobile rentals. Almost all tourist related establishments around the world now have a web site so that you can go to and get the desired information prior to actually completing your travel plans. You can always contact the sellers directly and get more information.
3. Go in Group.
2. Be flexible about the day and time of your trip.
Make your vacation plans well in advance. Book your cruise a year in advance for the vest discounts, and take advantage of low rail fares just after the holidays. If you make your arrangements several months before the trip you typically get your choice of flights and rooms at the lowest rates.
During the slow days of the week you can easily find many special offers or discount prices for both airline tickets and accommodations. Airlines may offer six or eight flights to your destination on any day. Say if you have to leave in the morning, check out all the departures that leave in the morning. Since airlines price tickets according to the availability of seats on the plane, changing your time by just one hour or so may save you a great sum of cash.
Another way to save is by going with a group such as a tour group, travel group or travel club. Group travel is usually arranged ahead of time by travel agencies. They buy in volume, frequently chartering a whole airplane and booking a large block of rooms to get the very lowest price.
4. Book early!
5. Travel during the offseason. For example, go to the Caribbean and Mexico in the summer because in the winter rates for accommodations and flights go up. Caribbean cruises are cheaper
when you go in the fall versus winter or spring. Hawaii is least expensive from mid-September to mid-December. Europe's best deals are available between Thanksgiving and Easter when the locals are not on vacation.
6. Convert money from Local In a foreign country convert money at a local bank for the best conversion. ATMs affiliated with major international banks are great, but be careful with foreign ATMs. While they usually won't charge you a fee, your bank may charge you one! Check out your bank's policies before you go on your trip. These are but a few of the many ways you can make your vacation less expensive. All you have to do is be resourceful and try to coordinate your timing properly and you can realize that dream vacation that you have wanted so long without breaking your family budget.
