WATER PRESERVATION AS IMPULSE Water are required to support biodiversity. Without sufficient water, stresses on specieses and decrease the number of biodiversity (UNESCO, 2019). Water could be recycled but not replaced. That’s why we need to preserve it more. Water cycle are heavily influenced by the ecosystem. Ecosystem are one of the aspects of biodiversity. The problem about water and ecosystem are both real in Jakarta. Growing population and rapid urbanization affects on water quality.
GOALS : INCREASING BIODIVERSITY
BIODIVERSITY INDEX based on singapore index
Besides the four aspects of biodiversity, there’s biodiversity index applied in Singapore in a form of regulations. We take some part of it to be implemented in our design. We will evaluate our design from this index and aspects in order to increase the biodiversity. We hope that Jakarta could restorized their biodiversity and be a nature-friendly city.

KAMPUNG MARUNDA : Accumulate, Spread, Restore
WET LAND
Located in Cilincing district, North Jakarta, the site is a wetland area (marshes) in Kampung Marun da. This area is known for its difficulty of clean water access especially in dry season. Clean water, which is supplied by PAM has slow flow rate and each houses should/would buy clean water from (carts seller berapa liter gitu per hari). This area is also a lowland that is often affected by tidal floods. The wetland condition is surrounded by densely populated settlements with the character of a close, populist community. Marunda village itself has a strong historical value because it is nota ble as Kampung Si Pitung (local hero).
DESIGN STRATEGY Basically there are 2 characteristic of water that flows on the site. First, it spreads. Second, it is accumulated into one point (due to the topography). Therefore the design strategy, adapting constructed wetland method, will be: Terasering Wetland
Bioswales
Accumulated water Spread water Open and maximize > make it flow > being accumulated space for water After being processed, the water can be directly distributed for daily use of community in surrounding, some of them is stored/collected, some remains in the site for flora-fauna and act as recreational element
Habitat
competition//07 /09
RAWA BABON : Preservation and Procurement This area would focusing to be the area that preserve habitat and also create new habitat for species. Water catchment area expanded and improved with raingardens and water tank preservation system. This place also had great potential for recreation and educational park.

DESIGN STRATEGY
Biohabitat
Divided area into 3 zones:
Biohabitat are creaated to increase the number of species. One of the most possible species to be mantained is bird. They could adapt well with urbanization. That’s why there are manmade bird nest. There are also six species of bird that almost exinct and need to be preserved, bubut jawa (Centro pus nigrorufus), jalak putih (Sturnus melanopterus), cerek jawa (Charadius javanicus), cikalang christmast (Fregata andrewsi), bangau bluwok (Mycteria cinerea), and pecuk ular asia (Anhin ga melanogaster).

KAMPUNG PULO : Live Within the Water WET LAND
The site is in an area with high density population, located along the riverbank, and prone to drain flooding from October to February. When heavy rains occur, water flow rate and volume will increase, so that the Kampung Pulo area within a radius of 100 meters from the banks of the Ciliwung River will be flooded with mud and overflow.
PROJECT VISION The design strategy can be replicated in settlements area which exist around the body of the river. This condition often considered as dirty and unfit for a metropolitan city. Therefore, if the strategy is applied along the river’s body in Jakarta, it becomes a solution for flood or any overflowing river problems because it transforms slums area into abundant water reserves. In addition, this strate gy also creates productive space for human and animal activities, regenerates the life of biodiversity. Rain gardens and space in houses’ lower ground functions as water catchment area as well as space for other fauna that provide benefits for residents who lives around.
DESIGN STRATEGY In the site, water comes from 2 sources: the flow of rivers that overflow during floods and rain water. So, the design strategies are :
NORMAL WATER LEVEL SCENARIO
Create a connection to the river
Design water absorption zones in the settlement
HIGHER WATER LEVEL SCENARIO
Lift housing’s elevation to anticipate flood,

Surabaya is the second largest city in Indonesia and known as one of the largest business and industrial city in Southeast Asia. But these business and industrial activities somehow has triggered urbanization and giving impact on the emergence of slums and social inequality. And side from the social aspect, those activities combined with the lack of infrastructure in the form of water bodies and green areas in the city also triggers high environmental temperatures (urban heat island/UHI) and pollution, that makes it one of the hottest city in Indonesia. Spatial analysis shows that UHIs in Surabaya in were formed in the city center and tended to increase in that area. UHI increase in the city of Surabaya is directly proportional to the density of buildings, and inversely proportional to the im ka l density of vegetation. tambaksari, The site is located near the city center, in residensurabaya tial and commercial areas close to the road, and located near to one of the slum areas in Surabaya. The site has an total area of 3 hectares and adjacent to one of the largest rivers in Surabaya.

THE CONCEPT
SLUM: URBAN SPRAWL AND RIVER IDENTITY
TAKE SPRAWL CHARACTERISTIC
BRINGS THE RIVER VERTICALLY, LOWERING UHI IN THE PROCESS
The proposal design is River Spine, a building relocation project for slum inhabitats in Surabaya which maximizes green land and water features in high-rise mixed-use buildings. Water features manifested in the form of falling rain inside the building, reservoir and capillary pipes which has a function to lower the micro climate temperature in order to overcome UHI. Falling rain is the adaptation of river which built vertically. We try to interpret river because it is mostly found in the slum environment, used as the source for washing, bath, etc, and has become identity.

Background Hyperloop, as the world's future transportation, is known to have great speed and excellent exactness. Lost in the Nevada desert, among the salt basins and millenial desolations where the steam of the ancient locomotives was first hosted, the first test center of Hyperloop has been created. We’ve studied strategies used by plants and animals to sustain their life in the desert and adapt it to solve human design challenges that we faced in the extreme Nevada desert's context. We takes desert ecology inspiration from mother nature, without leaving behind the idea of hyperloop as the future chapter of our transportation. The existence of the artificial giant succulent ,contrasting with the majestic desert that surround it, has become a glorious icon, a building that becomes one with nature, giving value to the continuum of space horizontally, rather than just vertically. Without optical interruptions along the main axis, the area will be framed by the formation of succulents and nodes, creating an optical illusion in the middle of the desert something that we call infinity loops
competition//20
MASTERPLAN The masterplan design was inspired by the form giant succulent, a native organism found in the desert. The succulent path -formed by the hyperloop track that surround the entire masterplan. Three main units are located in the middle with the HQ acts as a centre. There were also tube-train transportation alocated for employee and tourist in a s-letter track that we call Miniloop, connected with the Control Lab that surround the area.

Urban Revitalization Concept Displayed at Wiswakharman Expo 2019 Located in Malang, Indonesia collaborative work of Urban Pasca KKA Team lead by Prescillia N
competition/ academic/ /45/25
BACKGROUND Malang City does not have that much natural tourism because it is located in the middle of the island, far from the mountains and the sea. One of the consequences is that the number of tourists in Malang City is lower than the surrounding cities that have a lot of natural tourism potential. Even so, Malang City has many city parks as a result of the application of urban planning and design concepts, namely the concept of Garden City.
LATAR BELAKANG
Nevertheless, the existence of parks as one of the distinctive identities of Malang has not been managed optimally. If the existence of these parks is integrated and explored, hopefully it would creating alternative tourist destinations that can increase the number of tourists while preserving the existence of city parks that have begun to scarce in big cities.

ISU PERMASALAHAN
MUBENG-MUBENG MALANG! “Mubeng mubeng Malang”, which translates to “strolling around Malang”, is a city tour concept that is realised through the provision of bicycle lanes. This lane is designed with a route that allows the bikers to pass through various city parks.
Lack of natural tourism,
Connecting tourist attractions, especially parks, by using bicycles as a mode to enjoy the tourism of the city (City Tour) by providing supporting facilities in the determined lanes in the form of road elements such as cyclists and pedestrian-friendly road design, giving street furniture at certain points, and road elements in the form of bridges. “Mubeng-mubeng ing Malang!”
