Today we are going to explain the differences and uses of the next kind of curtains: LACE CURTAINS: This kind of curtains are use to hang up in specific ambiances, such as kitchens or bathrooms. They use to be hand‐made, the fabric use to be cotton, and fit perfectly in the windows area. Give us a traditional or country style similar to a countryside French style. We can use this option for door of cabinets.
If we want to give a classical style to our space, we have two options: goblet curtains or pencil pleat. The system used for both options is a track and some hocks to make pleats.
GOBLET CURTAINS: These kinds of curtains are slightly related with the imperial style. Sometime are used with an English muleton a cotton fabric use in between of the normal fabric to give the curtain more presence. If you want a traditional style, you can hide the top of the curtain using a cover making different shapes.
PENCIL PLEAT: The name came from the similarity of the pleats to the pencils. These curtains use to be long, from ceiling to floor. Normally they use to be an important role on the ambiances, and use to be combined with cushions or upholstery of some of the pieces of the ambiance.
