ashville has had a facelift. This small segment of the nearly 269 miles of M-66 reveals some of its recently completed streetscape and renovated storefronts lining Main Street. A group of business owners, capitalizing on these improvements, has been meeting for the past several months. Their enthusiasm and desire to band together has led to the formation of the Nashville Route 66 Business District. The logo for the business district capitalizes on the highway that runs through downtown. So far, 35 businesses are on board with an advertising and marketing campaign to position Nashville as a destination location. With Moo-Ville Creamery dishing up homemade ice cream to the south and the scenic Mulberry Fore Golf Course to the north, a section of the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail, three parks and the Thornapple River, business owners are eager to invite others to check out what they see in Nashville.
