A Public Health Practitioner I Belong to Vadassery, falls within a small and remote village called Venganellore in the locality of Chelakkara in Thrissur Dist, Kerala state, India. Grown up as a peoples science activist with Kerala Shastra Sahitya Parishad, l left Kerala for strengthening literacy/educational/ health initiatives in northern part of India as an activist of Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti (BGVS) with specific responsbility of Uttar Pradesh, the Biggermost State of India- there I was working part of the team that set up BGVS and a number of peoples initiatives including the peoples health movement state chapter. Left U.P in 2002, I worked for a very short perid with BBC world services as a community media expert. Then I shifted to Chhattisgarh, where I Was part of a team of colleagues in setting up a unique state-civil society partnership institution called the state health resource centre, which materialised various health sector changes in the state.
