ORDER UP!

Some days tacos were served, and on others there were chicken nuggets. Seniors share their favorite cafeteria foods that made them race to lunch.

“Paninis are probably one of the best cafeteria foods. I always get excited for lunch when they have them because they’re my favorite. I like mac and cheese and chicken nuggets too.”--Colleen Lierman

“The only time I buy cafeteria food is when it’s Bosco day. I usually pack my lunch. Well, my mom packs my lunch. But on Bosco day I’m always buying because they’re so yummy.”--Mandee Bolanowski

“I eat buffalo chicken tenders whenever they have them at the snack bar. They’re crispier than the normal chicken they usually serve, and have a lot more flavor.”--Jamie Hulteen

“I love getting a cookie right after I finish my meal because it’s sweet, soft and chocolatey. I like the ones that are really soft because they melt in your mouth.”--Hannan Gedeon

“Chicken patties are pretty good. They’re always there, so it’s something that is normal that they have every day. I get mine with chips, and apple juice, and sometimes a cookie.”--Haley Bandt Page by Kailey Kraushaar

If you are aware of any errors of fact in our reporting please contact us in room E221 or send an e-mail to ramparts@hpsk12.net. In the April issue of Ramparts, the story “Local ice cream parlors serve up smiles” incorrectly stated that Dairy Dan is owned by husband and wife Pat and Gary Ruth. Diary Dan was previously owned by Pat and Gary Root, but is now owned by the Spadafore family. The article also incorrectly spelled the name of Endia McKinney. In last month’s “Community remembers a tragedy,” Rick Royston was incorrectly identified as Chief of Police. Royston is the Fire Chief of Delhi Township. The Ramparts staff regrets these errors.
