After breakfast, guests will go on a nature hike. Biodiversity is the main characteristics of ECOPARK. It includes uncatalogued species in virgin rainforest, natural savannahs and creeks. Several streams of crystal clear warm water run through the rainforest. During the tour, the guide will lead clients and educate them about the local flora/fauna, how and where to find edible fruits and potable water, first aid, guide. (Fishing of piranhas and other species, depending on season). It is a non-professional fishing. Upon returning to the lodge, guests will be served dinner.

After breakfast, guests will depart for a tour of Meeting of the Waters. Departs from the lodge at 08h30am on board of a regional double deck boat. The boat goes down the Negro River navigating along the shore of the City of Manaus, allowing passengers to view the Amazonas Theater, the Port of Manaus, the Customs and the interesting aspects of the local life - the stilt houses for instance. Arrival at The Meeting of the Waters by 11h30am ( Lunch is not included, during this activity). It’s a spectacular merge of Negro and Solimões Rivers. From this point on both rivers form the famous Amazon River that runs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. The waters of the two rivers run together for about 12kms, side by side, without mixing. The phenomenon happens due to differences in temperature, density and speed of the waters of the rivers. Depending on the level of the waters, a visit to a typical " caboclo " (local inhabitants) villa will be included (at Terra Nova Island) during this full day tour (may not be available during the months of May, June, July and sometimes also August, when the villa is flooded). Guests will be transferred from airport to the lodge to be checked in to their rooms and then will visit the Monkey Forest. The facilities for rehabilitation and re-introduction of wild animals in their habitat (known as Monkey Forest), was created in 1991 with the intention of receiving animals that have been confiscated from illegal commerce. This is a joint project with the Municipal Secretary of Environment and Sustainability. In this center, the animals are initially put into quarantine to be evaluated and taken care of by a team of veterinaries and biologists. The duration of the tour of the center will be about 40 minutes to 1 hour. Following will be lunch, and then a visit to a native resident’s house. Guests will depart from the lodge on a boat or motorized canoe, accompanied by a bilingual guide to learn about the traditions and customs of local Amazonian natives. The duration of this tour varies according to the place visited, and during low water level seasons a boat may not be required. At high water level seasons, distant communities may be visited and the tour can last up to three hours. After visiting the native’s house some fishing may be done. Next the guests will have dinner, and then go to a Night tour in canoe. Depart lodge in paddle or motorized canoes, to appreciate the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility to spot small alligators (or other nightly creatures). Alligators are spotted because their eyes shine like small red lights. Once the alligator is spotted by the guide’s spotlight, he will try to catch a small alligator with his own hands and bring it on to the canoe, and a brief explanation of their habitat follows. The alligator will then be safely released back to the river. (No harm is done to any of the animals) Duration: about 1 hour. 468 tour - AMAZON CLIPPER: Amazon River Cruise 2-night cruise to navigate the Amazon River DAY 1 - Monday

Meeting at the lobby of the Tropical Hotel at 14:00 hrs. Boarding and depart toward Amazon River while we enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the information about route and facilities. After a snack we meet us in the leisure room for lectures about Amazon where we will get a good start on understanding Amazon ecology while the vessel take us the Amazon upstream. Before dinner we may already ordered a caipirinha, the national drink of Brazil. After dinner we will explore the river`s edge with powerful searchlights and we see caiman, close relatives of crocodile, sometimes incluiding night-hawks, snakes, toro-rats, sloth and frogs.

DAY 2- Tuesday

We wake up in the Janauaca Lake and start an early exploration by canoe of the waking forest. We will keep our eyes open for birds and enjoy the Pink River Dolphins. We return for breakfast followed by a walk in the forest and a visit to the inhabitants of the lake who live from manioc plantations, fishing, diverse fruit trees, rubber, Brazil-nut trees, wood and other extractive products. The piranha fishing in late afternoon is not only for passionate anglers then there are good chances of seeing Hoatzins and large flocks of egerets. After dinner we will explore the forest in our canoes with the possibility of observing nocturnal animals and admire at the millions of stars and constellations of the southern hemisphere.

DAY 3- Wednesday

A last exploring for bird-watching and good chances to see the Victoria Regia, the giant water lilies in the Janauary Ecological Park. We explore the mysterious flooded forest by canoe or walking on catwalks, observing wildlife in the trees and in the water. While we enjoin breakfast the boat starts navigation toward the "Meeting of the Waters". A unique spectacle where the bright colored water of the Amazon and the dark water of the Negro flows side by side without mixing for many miles. Now we return to the Tropical landing stage while we past Manaus port, with views of the floating docks, market, old custom house and the dome of the Opera house, arriving at 11:30 am. For the hikes in the forest they need also long trousers, good clothed footwear such as tennis shoes or hiking boots. Bring a daypack (small backpack) to all side trips including; Hat, sun block, sun glasses, light rain coat, insect repellent, binocular and camera in a waterproof bag. 469 tour - AMAZON CLIPPER: Negro River Cruise 3-night cruise visiting Negro River in Amazonia DAY 1 - Wednesday

Meeting at the lobby of the Tropical Hotel at 14:00 hrs. Boarding and depart upstream on the Rio Negro while we drink a fresh fruit juice and listen to the information about facilities. After a Snack we meet us in the leisure room for lectures about Amazon where we will get a good start on understanding Amazon preservation and ecology. After Dinner we will explore little creeks in our canoes and listen to the sounds of nocturnal animals with the possibility of observing birds, frogs, snakes and caimans.

DAY 2 - Thursday

Early morning we explore the surroundings along the waters edge in our canoes while we mainly find fruit eating birds like parrots and toucans. After breakfast we go for a jungle walk, we discover many surprising fragrances in leaves, fruits, woods and animals. Around midday we return and we may go for a swim, before lunch. In the Afternoon we navigate through the Anavilhanas National Park, one of the world`s largest fresh water archipelagos, a labyrinth of waterways. In the late afternoon we embark in the canoes and learn more about this wonderful nature park.

DAY 3 - Friday

Early this morningwe spend a little time fishing for piranhas and other fish.After breakfast we visit a “Natives Community” where we find many of thetypical Amazonian fruits like Cupuaçu and Tapereba, palm trees like Açaí, Tucumã and Pupunha. We learn about the preparation of manioc flour and the health and education situation of the children. After lunch we are landing on one of the white sandy beaches to swim in the dark water. Exploring by canoe and scout for wildlife in the late afternoon. On the way toward the Amazon River will be served dinner.

DAY 4 - Saturday

Early this morning we explore the Lago Janauary Ecological Park. This area is usually a very good place to observe wildlife and chances to see the “Victoria Regia” the giant water lilies. While we have Breakfast we navigate to the "Meeting of the Waters", the confluence of the world`s two largest rivers, the Amazon and the Negro. An early exploring for bird-watching and good chances to see the Victoria Regia, the giant water lilies in the Janauary Ecological Park. We will visit several kinds of forest including the strange and beautiful seasonally flooded forest known by Amazon Indians as the Igapó and the fantastically rich varzea forest. While we enjoin breakfast the boat starts navigation toward the "Meeting of the Waters". The light colored water of the Amazon and the dark water of the Negro do not readily mix and the two rivers flow sidr by side for many miles. Now we navigate the Rio Negro upstream while we past Manaus port, with views of the floating docks, market, old custom house and the dome of the Opera house. After lunch we meet us in the leisure room for lectures about the Amazon, where we will get a good start on understanding Amazon preservation and ecology. After dinner we will explore the forest in our canoes and listen to the chorus of birds and frogs with the possibility of observing nocturnal animals.

DAY 4- Thursday

Early morning we explore the rain forest along the waters edge in our canoes while we mainly find fruit eating birds like parrots and toucans. After breakfast we go for a walk in the forest where we espacially focus on the ways that plants and animals have evolved in the rain forest and relations between the plants and their phisical environment. Around midday we return and we may go for a swim, before lunch. In the afternoon we navigate through the Anavilhanas National Park, one of the world`s largest fresh water archipelagos, more then 1000 miles from the ocean. In the late afternoon we embark in the canoes and learn more about this wonderful nature park.

DAY 5- Friday

If there are anglers among us, spend a little time fishing this early morning. After breakfast we visit a "Natives Community". A walk through their gardens is always interesting as many of these settlers are of Indian ancestry and the breadth of their knowledge of the rainforest is enormous. We learn about the preparation of manioc flour and the health and education situations of the children. After lunch we are landing on one of the white sandy beaches to swim in some of the world`s most clean and refreshing water. Exploring by canoe and scout for wildlife in the late afternoon. On the way toward the Amazon River will be served dinner.

GENERAL CONDITIONS The following general conditions fully conform to Law 18829, Decree 2182/72, Resolution 404/72. RIPIO EVT OF IDEAS TURÍSTICAS S.R.L., Dossier No. 10687, located at Av. Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz 258 – 3rd Floor C, Buenos Aires, Argentina, hereinafter the company, hereby sets forth its general operation conditions for the provision of tourist services: 1. Knowledge of conditions set forth: when the passenger (as well as any person who has a reservation under the passenger’s name) sends his reservation and it is accepted by RIPIO EVT, it is understood that he agrees to and accepts all the conditions set out in this contract and certifies that the information supplied in the reservation card is complete and true The company, on accepting the reservation, agrees to fulfill its obligations as set forth herein. 2. Reservations: reservations received shall be confirmed once the passenger : A) Sends the reservation providing as much information as possible. We must be immediately informed of any changes in the information the passenger has furnished. The passenger can send the reservation by mail, e-mail, fax or through our web site. B) Pays a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip. Payment shall be made to our international account or by bank transfer to our accounts with national banks 3. Reservation confirmation: once A and B are completed so that the passenger’s reservation can be formalized, RIPIO EVT shall send the passenger via e-mail confirmation of his reservation. A week before the trip, we shall send the passenger by e-mail information on the hotel, contact telephone numbers, list of passengers and related data in a voucher service. 4. Payment of the balance due: the balance due must be necessarily paid for before undertaking the trip. The balance due be paid in cash. 5. Prices: all prices advertised in the company’s publications are quoted in US dollars and subject to changes without prior notice. Passengers shall pay the price quoted at the moment the reservation is accepted. Prices shall not be subject to changes only if the trip is paid in full (in cash) when the reservation is made. Otherwise, the company reserves the right to change the final price of the program without prior notice. Such changes shall arise from market fluctuations that may affect the cost structure. All price increases shall be paid for prior to the date of departure. 6. Reservation changes: if the passenger wishes to make changes in a reservation that has already been confirmed, he shall do so in writing. Passengers shall have to pay a penalty of U$S 50 per person when they make any such changes. 7. Reservation cancellation: cancellations shall be made in writing, without exception, and passengers shall be refunded the price of the trip after a deduction of cancellation charges. The cancellation date shall be the date RIPIO EVT. is dully notified by the passenger. The sum to be refunded to the passenger shall be paid by the company at the company’s premises within 30 days of the date notice was given of the cancellation. If cancellation notice is received 30 days prior to departure, 30% of the down payment made on the reservation shall be deducted to cover administrative expenses. If notice is received within 30 days prior to departure, the company shall retain the total down payment. 8. Changes made by the company prior to departure: the company may change itineraries, services, departure dates, etc. either in order to provide a better service, or because of acts of God or unforeseen circumstances. Unforeseen circumstances include: strikes, earthquakes, civil war, quarantine, revolutions, fires, adverse meteorological conditions, epidemics, bad road conditions o breakage’s, these being just illustrative. The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances or because the minimum number of people required to participate in the program has not been reached. In such a case the passenger will be informed in writing and he may opt for:

a) Demanding that he be refunded the full price paid to us. b) Deciding on an alternative trip and pay an additional sum of money or get a refund, whatever the case may be, if there is a price difference. 9. Documentation: it is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain his visa to enter the country of destination. The company is not to be held responsible if the passenger is refused, for reasons inherent to him, an entry visa or if entrance to a given country is not allowed because he has failed to comply with essential requirements or because there is something wrong with his passport. Any expenses arising thereof shall be fully borne by the passenger. The conditions set forth for voluntary cancellation of the service shall apply. 10. Luggage: the luggage and personal effects shall be, at all times, the passenger’s responsibility and at his own risk. 11. Services included: the company binds itself to render during the trip those services that are included and detailed in the information furnished in each program. 12. Services not included: the company is not bound to pay for incidentals, beverages, phone calls, laundry, tips, food during transportation, tickets for recreational centers, parks and natural reserves, etc., nor for any other service that has not been dully specified in the program. 13. Unused services: the price of the program is quoted as a package, so no refund or compensation shall be given for non-use of certain services such as hotel stays, transportation, or any other service that is included in the trip and has not been used by the passenger. 14. The company acting as an “intermediary”: When the company acts as an intermediary between the passengers and transportation companies, hotels, medical coverage, restaurants, etc., and if any of them fails to provide services, it undertakes to take the necessary steps to assure successful completion of the trip such as hiring new service providers, withholding payments to those who failed to meet their obligations, etc. The company shall not be held responsible for services provided by third parties. 15. Health: Passengers must be in good health and physical condition. Passengers are responsible for having checkups and the company is not to be held responsible in case they have not been completed.. However, it is the passenger’s responsibility to bring along medicine that has been specifically prescribed to him. 16. Complaints: neither RIPIO EVT nor service providers shall accept a formal complaint unless it is made in writing within 15 days after the trip has ended. 17. Insurance: travel insurance is not included in the price of the program. RIPIO EVT strongly recommends passengers to get travel insurance. 18. Limitation of our obligations: our obligation in connection with any event or failure shall be limited to and shall not exceed the price of the trip. 19. Applicable law and jurisdiction: these conditions and the annexes attached hereto shall be exclusively governed by regulations in force. Any conflict shall be settled by the Ordinary Courts of the First Judicial District of Buenos Aires, and excludes any other court and/or jurisdiction, especially the Federal court and/or jurisdiction.
