DAY1 - AUSTRALIS CRUISE - USHUAIA Check in between 10:00 and 16:00 at 409 San Martín Street. Board the M/V Stella Australis cruise ship at 17:30. After a welcoming cocktail reception hosted by the Captain and his crew, the M/V Stella Australis will depart for one of the remotest parts of the planet. Our voyage will take us through the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world: Southern Patagonia, which includes the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. DAY 2 - AUSTRALIS CRUISE - CAPE HORN & WULAIA BAY We will be sailing through Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where, weather permitting, we shall go ashore. The legendary Cape Horn was discovered in 1616 and is a sheer 425-meter (1,394-foot) high rocky promontory. For many years it was an important navigation route between the Pacific and the Atlantic, and is referred to as the ‘End of the Earth’. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005.In the afternoon, we will go ashore at historic Wulaia Bay, originally the site of one of the region’s largest Yamana aboriginal settlements. Charles Darwin landed there in 1833 during his voyage on the HMS Beagle. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will take an enchanted walk through the Magellan Forest of lengas, coigües, canelos, ferns, and other endemic vegetation, to reach a panoramic viewpoint. Australis Cruise

DAY 3 - AUSTRALIS CRUISE - DE AGOSTINI SOUND We will be sailing through Brecknock, Ocasión, Cockburn, and Magdalena Channels to enter the spectacular De Agostini Sound, in the heart of the Darwin Mountain Range. This is where we shall see glaciers sliding down the mountainside all the way to the sea.In the afternoon, in well-equipped Zodiac boats, we will travel to the Águila Glacier where we will embark upon an easy walk to its base. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of Patagonia’s cold rainforest and to see how the power of nature has molded the spectacular landscape. DAY 4 - AUSTRALIS CRUISE - MAGDALENA ISLAND Early in the morning, weather permitting, we will go ashore on Magdalena Island, located in the middle of the Strait of Magellan. The island used to be an essential source of supplies for navigators and explorers and is inhabited by an immense colony of Magellan Penguins that we will be able to see during our walk to the lighthouse. In September and April, this excursion is replaced by a ride aboard Zodiacs to Marta Island to observe South American Sea Lions. Finally, disembarkation at Punta Arenas is scheduled for 11:30. Full day cruise to the glaciers in Los Glaciares National Park, visiting Upsala (barrier of ice floes) and Spegazzini glaciers

full day

GLACIER GOURMET EXPERIENCE CRUISE

L

Transfer from the hotels in El Calafate to Paraje Punta Bandera. Boarding time at 9:00 a.m. at the company’s own dock “La Soledad” (Bahía Tranquila, Paraje Punta Bandera). The navigation starts towards the northwest, crossing Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, the narrowest passage in the lake with almost 800 meters. After two hours of navigation, the series of ice floes, of the most varied colors and shapes, anticipates the proximity of Upsala glacier. We will stop in front of the barrier of ice floes which, at present, is blocking the entrance to Canal Upsala. If the weather conditions are good, we will observe the Upsala glaciers at the distance. We continue navigating Lago Argentino towards the South, taking the Canal Spegazzini in order to reach the glacier that bears the same name. The navigation allows us to get closer to the glacier, which has front walls between 80 and 135 meters (262 – 443 feet) above lake level. Lunch is served amidst this stunning landscape. Towards the afternoon, the Crucero Leal will arrive at Puesto de Las Vacas (an extremely quiet bay in the Canal Spegazzini), where its engines will be stopped to let passengers share an amusing walk coordinatedby our team of guides. In this stop, it is possible to see stunning panoramic views of the Spegazzini glacier. Once onboard, we will return through Brazo Norte and get back to the boarding dock La Soledad at 6:00 p.m. Note: the itinerary is subject to changes based on the captain criteria to guarantee the passengers safety.

431 tour - SANTA CRUZ CRUISE: SPIRIT OF THE GLACIERS 2-night cruise to enjoy Los Glaciares National Park DAY 1 - SAN RAFAEL GLACIER D 2 TUESDAY OR FRIDAY Arrival to El Calafate Airport. 7:30 p.m. we will transfer you to Bahia Tranquila, to board the cruise at the company’s own dock “La Soledad” (Bahía Tranquila, Paraje Punta Bandera). We will navigate to Bahia Alemana. On board activities included. Dinner and Night in Bahia Alemana. DAY 2 - SAN RAFAEL GLACIER B L D WEDNESDAY OR SATURDAY At 9:00 a.m., we will start navigating towards the North, passing through Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, which is the narrowest passage in the lake with around 800 meters. After one hour of navigation along Brazo Norte, we will see the series of ice floes, of the most varied colors and shapes, which anticipate the proximity of the stunning Upsala glacier. We will stop in front of barrier of ice floes which, at present, is blocking the entrance to Canal Upsala. If the weather conditions are good, we will observe the Upsala glaciers at the distance. The Upsala is 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) wide on the lake, its walls are 60 meters (197 feet) high on average, and its total surface is about 900 km2 (347 square miles), including its drainage basin. We continue navigating Lago Argentino towards the South, taking the Canal Spegazzini for the next stop in front of Spegazzini glacier. The front walls are around 80 and 135 meters (262 – 443 feet). The Spegazzini looks like a huge icy river that descends from a rocky mountainside until it plunges into the lake. It is there, in front of this marvelous sight, where we will enjoy our first lunch. Towards the afternoon, the Crucero Santa Cruz will arrive at Puesto Las Vacas (an extremely quiet bay in the Canal Spegazzini), where it will stop its engines to let us enjoy a long rest or a walk coordinatedby our team of guides. In this first stop, we will be able to see stunning panoramic views of the Spegazzini glacier. Once again on-board, we will enjoy a filling afternoon snack. The next destination will be Bahia del Toro, in Seno Mayo. After dinner, passengers can join some of the activities organized by the crew. A lively talk, sharing ideas and the feelings created during the day, or the observation of the constellation map on a moon night, are just perfect for ending the second day of our journey. DAY 3 - SAN RAFAEL GLACIER B L THURSDAY OR SUNDAY At dawn, while we navigate south, passengers will have breakfast. We will land once again and get into the Andean-Patagonian woods to experience the magnificent natural landscape of Mayo and Negro glaciers. There, we will get to exclusively know the continental ice shelter where many journeymen left their traces. After crossing the Canal de los Témpanos, the Crucero will arrive at the most outstanding of the glaciers, the Perito Moreno, where we will travel around the 2.5 kilometer front (1.5 miles) on the lake. Its walls, which are almost 60 meters (197 feet) high, still surprise with numerous calvings and powerful sounds. We will have lunch surrounded by this spectacular natural landscape. On the way back, while we navigate through Lago Argentino towards the company’s own dock La Soledad, we will have our farewell toast, the end of our journey. At 4 p.m., we will land and be transferred to El Calafate airport (you probably will need an extra night in El Calafate to connect with your flight) B Breakfast L Lunch D Dinner
