South Asian Infrastructure (SAI) Pvt. Ltd. is a newly established company focusing on the complete solution of Construction of Hydropower Projects and other Infrastructure Projects within this region. This company has been formed to meet the increasing demand of Hydropower and Infrastructure projects of the country. It has recognized Hydropower and Infrastructure project development as the backbone of promising future of the country. In its very short span, but with the vastly experienced team it possesses, SAI is already involved in Construction of Tunnel for Lower Modi Hydropower Project (20MW), Daraudi A Hydropower Project (6MW) and Tungun-Thosne Hydroelectric Project (4.36MW). Besides above, it is also engaged in process of agreement for other projects. SAI is capable of undertaking complete Civil works of any medium sized Hydropower projects and has huge potential in construction of Tunnels of any size. Presently, with colossal potential in Hydropower and other various Infrastructure Construction projects, only a few companies in the country have capability to undertake such projects. SAI is one of such few capable and competitive companies to execute and conclude such significant projects timely without compromising in quality whatsoever. SAI also plans to create substantial work opportunity in the country to retain its professional, skilled and semi skilled manpower within the country. Message from the MD

Dear Sirs, South Asian infrastructure Pvt. Ltd is a newly established construction company with its aim to serve key infrastructure sectors namely Hydropower, irrigation, Tunnels, Transmission Lines, Ropeways, Road and Bridges, Sewage and waste water Treatment, Building and other general construction. Infrastructure development is one of the priority sectors for a developing country like Nepal. There is huge demand of infrastructure projects in the field of Transport, Power, Irrigation, Communication etc. It is true that our economy cannot fulfill all these demands immediately. But it is sad to note that even when there is enough budget we have not been able to realize our projects in time and with quality Lately, Nepal has become a major manpower supply source to countries of Middle East and Asia Pacific Region. The remittance money earned this way is a big help to our economy. But it is time that our engineers and workers are kept busy in projects at home. This will benefit our economy much more than the remittance we earn by exporting manpower. South Asian Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd aims to develop itself as a company who belives in quality work, timely completion and reasonable price. To achieve this it will focus on development of skilled manpower and employment of modern technology. Major attention will be given towards safety at work and environment protection. Our motto will be winning the trust of our clients not only in Nepal but also in our neighboring countries. Shiva Kumar Sharma Managing Director

Our Expertise

Tunneling Tunneling is a complicated task requiring accurate job with state of the art technological solutions under prevailing underground geological conditions. Himalayan geology is unpredictable; there is large variation ground condition in short stretch of length. The rock mass properties are very complex and unpredictable. Avery good firsthand knowledge and experience of himalayan geology is critical for working in this field of tunneling in Nepal. SAI has the capability of undertaking tunneling jobs in himalayan geology of any size and length. This can be justified with its undergoing tunneling jobs at various locations for hydropower development.
