White water rafting in journeying on the torrential river on an inflatable raft or white water kayak over crashing waves and swirling rapids for the excitement of a lifetime. Rafting on a Trishuli River is an excellent opportunity to observe the diversity of demography, landscapes, cultural heritage and flora and fauna. You can experience the thrills of white-water on the course of four days trip covering 88km. The trip can be made as shorter as you desire. Besides Trishuli River, there are many rivers for the Rafting including Sunkoshi, Kaligandaki, Karnali, bhote Koshi and Marshyangdi river that offers equal opportunities to experience thrills, adventure and diversity of demography, landscapes, cultural heritage and flora and fauna. It depends on how much time you have we will make the itinerary. A typical day in the river begins early morning when rafters arrive at the put-in point. Lunch on some white sandy beach around mid-day is fun. The best time for rafting is from October through mid-December and March to early May. In winter the water is cold and during the monsoons months from June through September, the white water sections are dangerous, but gentler stretches are easy to raft on.

Bungee Jump The ultimate thrill of a Bungee jump can now be experienced in Nepal at perhaps the best site in the world. Nepal’s first bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the wild Bhote Koshi river, and located close to the Nepal-Tibet border, a three-hour bus ride from Kathmandu. The jump, at 160m, was designed by one of New Zealand’s leading bungee consultants, and is operated by some of the most experienced jump masters in the business. It’s mishap-proof. The agency takes safety “very, very seriously”. Location : Eastern Nepal Less than 3 hours from Kathmandu in the Arniko (Kathmandu/ Lhasa) Highway to within 12km of the Tibet

Paragliding From Sarangkot (1500m) to Pokhara (800m), a first flight experience. Feel the sensation of flying in thermal conditions, (rising more than 500 m from the take-off point), from there we fly cross-country with the birds, over the local countryside you will see the rice fields, traditional villages and the people working in the fields, before we fly over the lake, offering the chance to do a little acrobatic flying (if you want to!), before landing beside the lakesid. First time? No worries, experience is not required! Tandem flying is when a certified pilot flies with a passenger. Both pilot and passenger sit in harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. A paragliding harness is designed for safety and comfort, and is like sitting in a comfy chair. After an easy take-off, the passenger sits back and relaxes...enjoying the epic scenery and breathing the mountain air. Bring with you strong shoes, and a windproof jacket. A calm scenic float, or an acrobatic tumbling routine, your choice...just tell the pilot your preference.

ACCOMODATION

Your Accomodation We have ranges of hotels in Kathmandu from budget to five star category hotels in Kathmandu and out of Kathmandu. Generally we provide 3 Star categories hotels for the trekkers in connection to the itinerary, unless it is mentioned otherwise or clients have a special choice. You can check on the description of such hotels through our website. Residing in Kathmandu is absolutely your choice; you can leave it up to us to do it for you or you can make your own choices. We are always there if you need us. During the trekking in most of the region you will find plenty of clean and friendly lodges along the trail. We stay in single rooms where possible, but often you will have to share. Facilities in tea houses are limited but good enough to offer you a comfortable stay and hygienic meals. Some of these lodges have electric lights and all have a spacious dining room-lounge. We will accommodate you and your group in a local lodge available each day. We send a porter ahead of us to book the required rooms for the group (rooms cannot be booked in advance). Please remember that some of them are very basic and a sense of adventure is necessary. Please note, where lodges are not available, we will set up camps. A lot of the areas we will trek through is wild & remote & contains some of the most rugged territory on earth, but its raw beauty at its natural best. Please kindly note that TEA HOUSE Trekking will be staying lodges and CAMPING TREK will have the Tented Camp facilities with full services.
