The music center is located in the 22 International Art Plaza and the area is about 700 square meter. This district consist of galleries, art institutes, Auction Companies, artist studios, innovative restaurants, bars and other related companies or stores.

My inspiration is from a music called “Elves of the Night�, and I felt the desire and admiration for the nature from it. The sounds from nature are pure and fresh. In this noisy world, the people who love music want to have such a pure music world without any disturbance. When you go into the music center, you will feel like being embraced by forests and yearn for the freedom of nature.

Project Statement This project located in a culture district, and it is in the middle of the way between city library and province library. The project location is on the west of Fenhe River and it is a tranquil space in the busy city with beautiful and quiet environment, so here is a really nice place for people reading, thinking and calming the mind. The art atmosphere here is very strong to build an art library and more easily to attract the people who are interested in arts gathering together, so that communication gets improved and experience gets stronger.
User Target
Background Research The current libraries are mostly the public library that opening to everyone. According to the research, only 31 percentage of students keep reading every day. Apparently, the reading time and reading quantity are not enough. In addition, 67.40 percentage of students prefer to read in library, so number shows that most students still would like to read hardcopy in library. However, the environment of most school libraries in China are boring and unattractive for art students. Therefore, I believe that the library with a better environment would attract more students, especially art students.

Color Scheme
Concept The artists are pure and sharp. Art innovation needs inspiration, artists will feel excited and happy when the inspirations coming and mind is enlightened. Based on this point, I got the inspired by the “change of heart rate� and I wanted to bring this idea into my design to give people an enthusiastic feeling.

Project Statement
Yuyanlu is a famous street in the west district of Shanghai. It is not a wide street, nor short one. It is start with the Jing’an Temple and reach to the Zhongshan Park, and it is a quiet street in the noisy city.
User Target
Exisiting Japanese Restaurant in Shanghai
Color Scheme
Concept In the city with high speed of economic development like Shanghai, people pursue each other in this competitive society and nobody would like to pursue the truth. In this design, I was trying to extract the symbol of mountain and use it to create an atmosphere of living a peaceful life in a deep forest and away from the noisy city.

The project is to re-design a small exhibition hall and the project is located in the School of architecture and art design in Hebei University of Technology. It is used for exhibiting outstanding college student works and graduation projects. It is occasionally used as reviewing space when there are not exhibitions.

Concept In order to reflect the college art atmosphere, I wonder to use the historic building which is one of the core of the Chinese traditional culture as design elements to apply into my design. Meanwhile, taking into account its exhibition purpose, too complicated decoration is inappropriate, so I got inspired by the Suzhou local architectural style, which is Delicate, gentle and concise.

The center of exhibition hall are semi-closed spaces and table and chairs are placed here. It could be communicating space or work space for arranging exhibitions. The colored cubic seats placing on the right could be moved in terms of different needs or preferences. These cubes could be moved away from there to form a small discussion place for student works reviewing.

The design inspiration is from the melted thick chocolate liquid. The store elevation that facing to the entry is designed to be the look that chocolate wrapping paper being torn off. Spreading to the ceiling, there are several “drops of chocolate tick liquid”. Whether the chocolate shaped stools or the “bitten” cashier desk, they are all increasing the closeness between customers and products and making costumers feel in a small chocolate factory.

Concept This project is to re-design a student apartment for a collage in Hong Kong. Students from all of the world, they hope to feel at home. My design style is going to be Scandinavia style which is simple, clean and tranquil. I gave priority to the comfortable experience, meanwhile considering to the characteristic of students, space plan and arrangement got be more functional, and more focusing on space storing ability.
