The Moreno Valley and the surrounding area is well known for the abundant elk population. The ranch sits in the middle of this fabulous elk country, and it is more likely than not you can spot elk on the ranch most days. With the water resources, lush grass, and timber for shelter, it is no wonder the elk like to call Los Cielos home. Elk are so plentiful in the area that unlimited elk tags are available for the ranch. Mule deer, wild turkey, black bear, and mountain lion can all be successfully hunted with a gun or camera on the ranch as well.
