A history of practical cattle, starting in 1999, the Performance Plus Bull Sale has maintained a focus on Angus genetics that fit the Great Basin and High Desert cattle regions; starting with Hal & Lois Schudel, and later on Ankony Farms, the Teixeira family has continued commitment of practical, regionally adapted, Angus genetics. Bringing now the sixth generation forged by the Teixeira family agriculture heritage that has a deep commitment to the Performance Plus Bull Sale.

It’s a family story that is enhanced every day of the family being actively involved in every aspect of the Teixeira Cattle Co program.

This commitment to agricultural values of hard work, duty and responsibility has allowed TCC to reach, genetic milestones that promote the goal of Teixeira Cattle Co. Our goal to produce beef cattle genetics that offer the greatest value to our customers. The concept of greatest value to our customers is an ongoing quest.

The cumulative pressure to provide great value can be documented by the track record of the TCC program. This track record includes:

• TEX Demand 2791 who has sold 30,000 units of semen worldwide and is the grandsire of the $550,000 T/D Doc Ryan.

• TEX Playbook 5437 long time Select Sires bull and still current is $1 million semen seller who is the number 12 ranked $M bull in the main sire summary.

• Hoover Know How R67 another long time Select Sires bull known as a sire of tremendous soundness growth and carcass merit. Sire of the Huwa $145,000 highet selling bull of all time for Huwa.

• TEX Able 8528 a proven calving ease bull who excels in feed efficiency data, maternal traits, foot quality. TEX Able’s first daughter to sell at public auction sold for $13,000 in Oklahoma. TEX Scout 9001, herdsire for Hoffman Ranch, Nebraska is siring calves highly sought after for their soundness and phenotype, while maintaining calving ease and maternal merit. TEX Teton 9052 owned by Riverbend Ranch, Idaho is quickly becoming a ‘go to’ Angus sire. * make a bullet point please!

• TEX Teton stands out as the #2 maternal sire in the ENTIRE Angus sire database, while carrying a 1% in the breed ranking for Marbling and $C (combined).
