We welcome you to our 36th annual production sale. It’s hard to believe we have gone through another year. Yes, we are all, including the grandkids, one year older.
Our breeding philosophy continues to focus on the balanced traits of producing the female. If we produce the right kind of female, the bulls will come.
For years we have stressed developing cattle from the ground up. Structural soundness, fertility and udder quality are very important in propagating longevity and performance. We expect our stock to provide you with animals that survive and thrive in the natural elements for years to come and we pride ourselves in the disposition and consistency of our Charolais herd.
Many of our bulls are out of Raile the General J021. He was purchased by Sandhill Charolais from Oklahoma in our 2022 sale. He is very easy calving with high performance and excellent carcass traits. His EPDs back his performance and carcass traits. New sires this year are bulls from Doll herd in North Dakota and Rennert Ranch in Nebraska.

We’ve added a select group of Charolais/Red Angus open heifers and a group of nonregistered Red Angus open heifers to the sale.
We hope to see you at the sale. If unable to attend, the sale will be broadcast live on Superior Livestock Auction.
Complimentary lunch will be served prior to and during the sale.

RAILE GENERAL M047 P

— M047 put together quite the consistant set of numbers. He has a 108 weaning ratio and a 107 yearling ratio. Typical thing to see out of Raile The General J021. M047 posseses extra length with an abundance of muscle over his loin eye and his rear quarter. We think very highly of this years JO21 sons.

RAILE GENERAL M021 P

RAILE GENERAL M025 P

— A top performing bull! A half-brother to last year’s Lot 1 that sold for 11,000. M025 posted a 104 ratio at weaning and continued to pack the punch during our 90 day test period to ratio 104 as a yearling.

Through experience over the years, we feel that WPDA is the best way to evaluate performance. It covers all growth stages, not just the milk production of the dam. We do not push our bulls very hard, and some will still gain 3.5 – 4 pounds per day. These bulls are not fat and will not melt away when they go to pasture. Longevity is bred in. These bulls should last for many years. If not, let us know. Rememberwe do the work and develop breeding stock for YOU, our customers.

RC MICHELLE X150 B197
RC MICHELLE T073 V169
— Started with a 79 lb. actual birthweight and grew to ratio 104 at weaning and 95 at yearling. Talk about spring of rib and depth! B197 is one of Coltons top picks when it comes to females. Longevity and production go hand in hand when talking about B197.
