6/12 Club Board Meeting 6/30 Opportunity Village

President

Happy summer key clubbers! I’m sure the heat has been getting to everyone but this brings many opportunities to beat it. Especially with events we have planned for you all (wink wink). For now, sign up to volunteer at a thrift shop with us! This doesn’t stop anyone from doing virtual hours at home like Color a Smile, Atom Learning Tutor, FreeRice, and more. That’s it for now so wear sunscreen and stay safe while having fun this summer! Serving to Bring Melodies Together,

Melyka Tanyag

Vice President

Hope everyone is having an amazing summer so far. Volunteering under the hot sun is one of the best ways to spend your free time. Currently we have scheduled a day with opportunity village near the end of June on the 30th and are working to find more individual hour opportunities for our lovely members at home. We are working closely with Las Vegas pride to get our pride month volunteering on and hope to see everyone soon! Serving Magically Along Side You,

Katia Gutierrez Perez

Secretary

I hope everyone's summer continues to be amazing and healthy. The heat is definitely starting to beat down, but along with that comes amazing opportunities for volunteering! Activities such as Opportunity Village (which you should definitely sign up for) and upcoming events are great ways to spend your summer! Other volunteering opportunities, online or in person, will grant you benefits, so I definitely recommend you all to check some events out. Please stay safe, stay hydrated, and have a fantastic summer break! Planting the Seeds for Growth,

Jean Guenivere Reyes

Treasurer

Hello, my fellow friends! We are in the middle of June! Time is flying extremely fast, and everyone plans on working diligently to make the summer as fruitful and enjoyable as possible. Preparing for the next term has certainly been my major priority and my whole goal is to strive to be the best possible treasurer I can. With Care and Compassion,

Jose Vasquez

Historian

Hello, wonderful key clubbers! The month of June is halfway done and I hope you’re enjoying your summer break and are making great use of these months off from school to help by volunteering. There are plenty of ways to volunteer over the summer, you can look for centers, non-profit organizations, and even your own key club has opportunities available for you too! Remember to stay hydrated, stay cool, and it’s never too late to learn something new! Serving for Love and Change All Around,

Fernanda Cruz

Webmaster

Hey Keyuties!! Your beloved webmaster here! I can’t believe that June is already here. Hopefully, your summer is going great and you are having fun. In the meanwhile, I and your fellow officers are working hard to bring guys some more service projects and updates. So keep a look out on Instagram! I'll see you guys next month. Stay safe, stay you! Officer Training Conference, May 14th On Saturday, May 14th, some of our offices had attended the OTC in which they had gotten into more precise detail in which their position held on their team. They also got to interact with other offices from different schools to see what they are doing with their members. This conference has allowed our officers to interact with other leaders with our community. This will further lead us down a path of success as we have connections with many officers that reside in different communities.

May DCM, May 17th

A few days after the OTC the monthly DCM was held. Here our officers that attended had been informed on our divisions old and new business. Also getting to further strengthen relationships with fellow officers from across the division. The goals for our division were set and officers were given tips on how to stay active this summer!

second Officers Meeting, June 12th

On Sunday June 12th we held our second officer meeting of the year! In this meeting we discussed what we have been working on for our positions. We also got to catch up with each other and what we have done over the summer. We discusses different service projects that we can be involved with and bring attention to out members. And we can't wait to have more opportunities to have service projects to share with our members!
