Kamusta Key Clubbers!

I’m Melyka Tanyag and I am proud to serve as your new president for the 2022-2023 term. I am super grateful for this opportunity to build a family in key club while serving in our community. Before I hopefully get to know each and every one of you, I’d like to introduce myself a little. I will be a senior this upcoming school year and I am very passionate about things outside of Key Club, especially orchestra. I love to play the cello and I’m even in the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra! Outside of school, I love to eat out, drink boba, read books, watch movies, travel, and of course strive to reach goals. I am so excited for you all to see the many things that will bring even more spirit to our Key Club especially after going to OTC and the DCM this month. Look out for these amazing opportunities over summer and remember to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen! Serving to Bring Melodies Together,

President

Vice President

My name is Katia Gutierrez and I am the vice president elect for the 2022-2023 school year. I am very excited for our future Key Club accomplishments, our first office meeting was already full of aspirations and goals for our upcoming year. We wrapped up the year with all the hours and events accounted for and looking back it’s impressive how much we managed to do. I am looking forward to the last DCM of the term as well as all future meetings as well. I can’t say I’m confident but I sure am excited. I hope to gain more experience as the term goes and and I look forward to seeing what we are able to do this time. I will see you all soon! Serving magically along side you,

Katia Gutierrez Perez

Hey bee-uties!

I will be your new historian for the 2022-2023 term, Fernanda Cruz. just wanted to start by saying that I am so glad to be serving alongside all of you. I’d like to formally introduce myself as your Club Historian for the 2022-2023 Term! A little about me, I was born and raised in Vegas. I am an introvert, I like to play the violin, and I like to buy a lot of journals. Our board for this term is so hardworking and creative and I know we’ll do great things. In terms of our club, I will do my best to make all of our Key Club experiences worthwhile, make our club can run as planned, keep our club organized, and have more member involvement for service events, and themes, as well as the events we do. I want to thank everyone who has been with our club and supported us every step of the way. Serving for Love and Change All Around,

Historian

Fernanda Cruz Hey Keyuties!

This is your newly installed webmaster here. I am so excited for this upcoming year and to fulfill all of the goals that I have planned for the 2022-2023 term. A little bit about me: three years ago I moved here to fabulous Las Vegas Nevada! So I may not be a long term local here but I’ll surely keep up my school spirit! Keep an eye out for future posts on our Instagram to be up to date! I can’t wait to see you all once again! Serving to Infinity and Beyond,

Articles & Visuals By Webmaster Honarata Esperanza-Drinks End of Term Banquet, April 29 On April 29th of 2022, our club has our final goodbyes with our seniors and our officers for the 2021-2022 school year at our End of Term Banquet! each officer for the 2021-2022 school year gave out our club awards for member recognition. highlights of our member recognition awardees are, Member of the Year went to Bianca Gonzalez Service Bee of the Year went to Alexis Ele E-Board Shoutout of the Year went to Honarata Esperanza-Drinks Advisor's Choice Award went to Jose Vasquez Many members including our amazing seniors got awarded for all their hard work this school year and it helped us wrap up the end of the amazing 20212022 term. We had the opportunity to have the officers meet in the classroom to present awards, and it gave a small sense of normalcy to this amazing tradition. Though saying our goodbyes to our seniors as well as the board of 2021-2012 one school year was hard, we got to introduce our board for the 2022-2023 term and begin a new chapter for our club!

Final Club Meeting, April 19 Before our End of Term Banquet of the 29, we had our final club meeting with the 2021-2022 board on April 19! At this meeting, we had our new officers lead the meeting!

Some topics that were mentioned were the plans for the upcoming banquet and some final remarks. As tears were shed we remembered that there is a new team of officers that will bring us together again next fall! Our amazing club did a great job with getting as many hours as we could from coming out of a year being virtual and getting to see the board members do these dares was a great way to repay the time they put into aiding our community.

First officer meeting, may 9 On May 9th, our 2022-2023 officers met with our club advisors and discussed some of the goals we want to set for our term this year! During the meeting, we went over many of our goals for the next year's members, hours and charity events. We also discussed some service projects like the Free Rice App and having a 10 hour cap on them. We plan on budgeting our money more with leaving our next term members with the same amount that we have received now. Also we discussed how to improve the club's advertisement and prepare for the upcoming OTC!
