Kayla’s Corner Hey Key Clubbers! Don’t forget that December is a time to give back to others, but as Key Clubbers, it is our duty to give back year round. Yours in Service Kayla Morton
Brittany’s Bulletin I can’t believe that fall semester is over. Time keeps flying by, but that’s okay, I’m enjoying all the time I spend with all yall. December is upon us, and we need to remember to give back all year round, not just during December, and not just while in Key Club. I hope each one of you is inspired to continue serving others. I know I am. -- Brittany Tu Messages

Giving Back By. Brittany Tu
The month of December marks the time of year where everyone gives to those in need. Key Club prides itself with giving back year round, not just around the holidays. However, this time of year allows us to give back more with different organizations, who are more active around this time. This year, Randall High School Key Club had the opportunity to participate in the Red Kettle Campaign with Salvation Army, the Jingle Bell Run, and the Panhandle High Plains Museum celebration. With the help of the Hi Plains Kiwanis, Randall High School Key Club rang the bell for Salvation at the local supermarket. Ringing the bell was fun because I got to talk to people and watch our kettle become super stuffed. Helping with the Jingle Bell Run was fun as well. The Jingle Bell Run is a 5K hosted by the local running club. Key Clubbers helped out by pointing runners in the right direction and spreading holiday cheer with Christmas carols. One of the other annual December projects is the Panhandle High Plains Museum Christmas celebration. The Museum has characters, cookie decorating, games, crafts, and live music throughout the day. Most of our Key Clubbers helped kids with crafts. I enjoyed watching the kids make their ornaments, snowflakes, and picture frames because they all had so much creativity and you could tell that they were planning what they wanted their craft to look like from the very start. We had a very busy month of December, and I am kind of sad its my last one has a Key Clubber.
