Returning to the Board of Trustees is Heather Grossman. She is the proud parent of three R-MA graduates: Ashley ‘16, Michael ‘18, and Lily ‘21. She has served in a variety of volunteer roles at R-MA, including Parent Association President and Treasurer, Middle and Upper School Representative, and more. She is a past co-owner (with her husband and Gulf War veteran Mike) of a commercial contracting company and now works for Coldwell Banker Realty. She and Mike are working on the development of condominiums and hotel at Lake Anna, Virginia.

Dr. Tess Hegedus
Past R-MA Dean of Instructional Leadership and Innovation, Tess holds a Masters Degree in Gifted Education from Elon University and a PhD in Teacher Education/Higher Education from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Her 20-year career in education has included teaching, research, and administration in K-12 learning and higher education. During her time at R-MA, Tess led initiatives to advance techonology and implemented both J-Term and the Pre-Professional Pathways.
