Wade in clear streams, hunt for fossils, work side-by-side with scientists in the field of paleontology and ecology all while having fun and forging friendships that will last a lifetime.

FOUR EXCITING SESSIONS SHARK WEEK 1 & 2 (JUNE 1-4 & 5 - 11) Look for fossils from the prehistoric past when Alabama was submerged beneath a shallow sea teeming with sharks and other menacing marine predators.

DISCOVERING ALABAMA ECOLOGY WEEK 3 (TEACHER WORKSHOP JUNE 15-18) Explore Alabama’s incredible natural diversity with teachers and educators from around the state. [3 hour science credit]

SURVIVOR WEEK 4 (JUNE 19-25) Experience Alabama’s beauty and mystery while paddling rivers, wading streams and conducting field research and nature studies of the Alabama Black Belt ecosystem. Then test your outdoor skills to have a chance to become the Ultimate Expedition Survivor! Space is limited so sign up soon!
