Rasam Powder : Cook Tasty Healthy Rasam


South Indian food lovers can never think of meal without Rasam, which is considered as a heart warming soup prepared from Tamarind juice, Pepper,Tomato,Cumin and other spices. Even though there are many variations for Rasam, most popular is Tomato Rasam.


Rasam Powder is a gift to Rasam lovers to make their favourite dish quickly without a second thought, how to make it ?


How to Prepare Rasam quickly? Rasam is considered as an ideal appetizer recipe with many health benefits like facilitating digestion, helps to lose weight,prevents constipations and also they are rich in vitamins and minerals.


Take a sauce pan add mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds, red chilly, pounded ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, tomatoes, salt , rasam powder and saute well. After two minutes add water. Let it boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Add tamarind puree and let it boil for 5 minutes. Rasam is Ready Garnish it with coriander leaves.
