Shooting Sports

We offer Archery, Rifle, and Shotgun shooting Merit Badges at camp. However, those merit badges aren’t the only time Scouts can join us at the range. We offer open shoot for rifle and archery on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. (No sign up required for open programs) Brand new this year on Tuesdays and Fridays we are offering an Open Sporting Arrow Program.

We use .22 caliber, single-shot, bolt-action rifles and 12-gauge shotguns. Please note there is a $20 charge for shotgun merit badge and a $12 range fee for rifle shooting merit badge. Optional, yet highly recommended, shooting practice is offered daily at 2:00 pm for merit badge participants. Experience indicates that Scouts wanting to earn these merit badges should plan on attending these sessions.

Open Shooting is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for ALL Scouts.
