Race Pack Collection All entrants must collect your race pack before your event starts (we will not be posting them out). We encourage you to collect your race packs from our Market Square collection centre on Friday 16th or Saturday 17th November before the event. Collection Centre: Gallery 52 on Level One (next to Lincraft) in the Market Square shopping centre, corner of Malop St and Moorabool St, Geelong • 11:00am – 6:00pm Friday 16th November • 9:00am – 2:00pm Saturday 17th November Race packs can also be collected on race morning from the registration marquee on Steampacket Gardens from 6:00am onwards.

Getting there: Our suggestion is to get everyone together and car pool wherever possible. The best spots to park your vehicle will be: • Deakin Uni carpark, enter from Smythe St • Geelong Train Station carpark, enter from Latrobe Tce • Eastern Gardens • Suburban streets that are NOT located on the event course(s) Please be aware that you may not be able to remove your vehicle from the Geelong City Centre until after 10:00am due to road closures for the event.
Please attach your number plate to the front of your shirt so it is easily visible from the front. Your number plate includes a removable bag-tag for bags placed in the bag storage area.

Aerobics warm up. Our friends at Pro Feet Podiatry will be conducting an aerobics warm up 10 minutes before each event starts. This will be located at the start line.
Massage. Pro Feet Podiatry will be providing massages for runners from their expo stand on Steampacket Gardens so make sure you visit them to smooth out any sore spots after your run. Bag Storage. We will look after your bags and personal belongings while you’re running / walking. Attach the ‘bag-tag’ at the bottom of your number plate to your bag and drop it off to the bag storage area on Steampacket Gardens before you start. Please don’t leave any valuables in your bag. Free water and fruit. Grab a cup of water and some fruit from the water stations on Steampacket Gardens after you finish! Event photos. Photographers from Supersport Images will capture you in action around the course with photos available to purchase soon after the event. www.SuperSportImages.com.au Toilets. Porta loos will be located near the entrance to Cunningham Pier and on Steampacket Gardens, in addition to the permanent public toilets located at Cunningham Pier, Transvaal Square and Eastern Beach. Medical assistance and first aid. Event Aid will be providing medical assistance and first aid services during the event. They will have a mobile medical team on the course and a permanent medical station adjacent to the finish line on Steampacket Gardens.

Time limit - Competitors in the 5km and 10km still on the course after 10:15am must move to the footpath and continue to the finish obeying normal road rules. This is to allow roads to be re-opened. Are you ready to take on Moorabool Street like a true champion? Then get ready, get set, because this event is for you! Start: 8:00am Sunday 18th November, located on Western Beach Rd at the corner with Gheringhap St. All 10km runners will start together at the one start line. We strongly encourage runners to position themselves in the start chute according to your honest ability – fast runners at the front and the more leisurely at the back! Water Stations • 3.3km pt – in front of the Geelong Hospital on Ryrie St • 6.5km pt – at the East Geelong Golf Club on Eastern Park Circuit • The expo area – on Steampacket Gardens adjacent the finish Finish line: Eastern Beach Rd directly opposite Steampacket Gardens
5km run The 5km run is the perfect event for those who like their fun as much as their run! Love our city but not a keen runner? Then you’ll love this beautiful stroll through our city. Start: 8:45am Sunday 18th November, located on Western Beach Rd at the corner with Gheringhap St. All 5km walkers will start together at the one start line. Water Stations • 2.8km pt – in front of the Geelong Hospital on Ryrie St • The expo area – on Steampacket Gardens adjacent the finish Finish line: Eastern Beach Rd directly opposite Steampacket Gardens
1km kids' run Created especially for our energetic kids who love running their little hearts out all while having a great time with their friends! Start: 10:15am Sunday 18th November, located on Ritchie Bvd not far past the Geelong Yacht Club. The course: The course is basically an out and back loop, with kids remaining within sight of parents for the vast majority of the run. The course is completely closed to cars and is kept safe with marshals and traffic management personnel. This is NOT A RACE and is participation based. Water Stations: There are no water points on the kids’ run course other than on Steampacket Gardens adjacent the finish. Finish line: Eastern Beach Rd directly opposite Steampacket Gardens (the same finish as the 5km and 10km events). Parents / spectators: Parents can run with your child if you like, although we encourage you to let them go so they can experience the thrill of the event by themselves. Parents do not need to register / enter if just accompanying your child. Spectators can watch the start and then walk on the footpath to see them cross the finish line.
