According to Scientific American, independent research has demonstrated that learning strategies are a better predictor of success on tests than IQ. I’m going to explain the implications of that, and how you can use this fact to improve your performance, not just in tests, but across the board. Now, most of us think of IQ as being the most important talent or attribute for something like taking a test. In actual fact, the research has shown that the STRATEGY, or the sequence of steps that you use inside your mind, is even more important than that. So, if you can change the steps that you’re taking inside your mind, you can dramatically increase your performance, and NLP can teach you how to do exactly that.
