THE ONE.
C C I P C T L
The world is flat. The world is big. The world is changing.
The world calls for you to be ready. It demands the best. Some will succeed, others will not. Those who do will embody The Character of Success
— the capacity to combine the knowledge, experience, and integrity to excel professionally and personally. Today’s world demands a different type of education. One that is focused on engagement and balances academic theory with practical reality. One that delivers the highest standards of academic excellence, character, and ethics within a global, real-world context. Bryant University is The One. The one university that is driving a paradigm shift in undergraduate education by shattering the thinking that Liberal Arts and Business are separate paths. Our innovative, real-world curriculum is made even more profound by an unwavering focus on character and ethics. The result is a transformative, life-defining experience that will help you take full advantage of all the opportunities and challenges ahead.
bryant university is the one. WHEREVER YOU START, WE WILL HELP YOU GET WHERE YOU WANT TO GO. Change is everywhere — in business, in the arts, in science, and in virtually every profession and aspect of life. It’s why we’ve developed our integrated curriculum and teaching methods to help you not only respond to but also leverage and lead change. To get you where you want to go. If your interests begin with BUSINESS, a Bryant education will show you that learning how humans think, seeing history as the greatest predictor of the future, and developing your communication skills are central to business success. If your passions lie in the LIBERAL ARTS, a Bryant education will help you see that art and science are worlds of business too, requiring an understanding of management, finance, and how technology is contributing to the changes and opportunities you face.
Business and the Liberal Arts BUSINESS IS ART AND SCIENCE. ART AND SCIENCE are BUSINESS.
IT STARTS WITH GNGINAHC THE WAY YOU THINK. In today’s world, success is determined not simply by your knowledge but also by your ability to make smart decisions. Understanding the past and knowing how to take advantage of the present, and developing the ability to stop and contemplate possibilities, will be essential to your career and life accomplishments. At Bryant, the integration of Business and Liberal Arts, with an emphasis on character, will help you create connections between seemingly disparate topics and provide you with the tools to make the right choices, regardless of how complex the challenge. Whether the question is what path to take or which destination to declare, critical thinking will help you find the answers.
Critical Thinking SUCCESS IS DEFINED BY THE CHOICES YOU MAKE. HOW YOU SEE THE WORLD DETERMINES YOUR FUTURE.
Character CHARACTER DEFINES YOU. GUIDES YOU. MAKES YOU WHOLE. AND HELPS YOU SUCCEED.
And requires that you play fair. Always. The pace of change is swift. And, in the rush to keep up, some will forget important things: the rules of fair play, the imperative that we help each other, the importance of honesty in everything we do. At Bryant, these values are never afterthoughts. We call it Character — this idea of integrity, of taking responsibility for your actions, of respecting yourself and all those around you. And we believe it always matters. That’s why character is integrated into coursework, service learning opportunities, and campus life. Bryant’s leadership, faculty, and staff are committed to providing you with a moral compass that will guide you throughout your Bryant experience and for the rest of your life.

AND Find WHAT YOU LOVE. There are no easy formulas for success in a changing world, but there is a fundamental truth. Success begins with finding your passion. Finding the thing — the endeavor, the idea, the career direction — that moves you, that excites you, that keeps you up at night pondering the possibilities. Bryant’s unique curriculum, coupled with more than 80 clubs and organizations, ensures that your passion will be found and fueled. And along the way faculty will guide you, cheer you on, and at times be the ignition to focus you. They will give you the nudge you need to take paths you have never tried or even thought about before. A wide range of internships and opportunities to partner with alumni will allow you to explore your interests and find your passion.
Communication Ability YOU MUST LISTEN TO BE HEARD. YOU MUST BE CLEAR TO BE EFFECTIVE. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EXPRESS.
YOU WILL MAKE YOUR LIVING ON THE strength OF your WORDS. For us to affect understanding, we must begin by understanding each other. Your ability to achieve professional and personal success is directly tied to how well you communicate your needs, thoughts, ideas, and aspirations. Whatever your career path, communication in this complex, changing world is central to forging effective, mutually rewarding, and long-lasting relationships. Whether you are launching a new product line or addressing the United Nations, being able to listen and to tell your story succinctly and effectively are essential. Bryant’s unique melding of Liberal Arts and Business enhances the communication skills of all of our students. We offer focused classes in the areas of Interpersonal Communication; Mass Communication and Writing; Professional and Creative Writing; and Electronic Media Production and Appreciation (creating web, television, and radio programming), and coursework including advertising, public relations, film studies, global communications, and media literacy. And if communication is your passion, we offer majors in both Communication and Literary and Cultural Studies.
AND BE THE ENABLER OF TECHNOLOGY. In a changing world, you cannot assume that access to technology leads to success. Instead you need to understand how to select and enable technologies that can contribute to your daily life and career success. Technology without clarity of application and benefit is just that, technology. But in the right hands, with the right knowledge, technology can help you change the world. Bryant is a leading academic institution in its advancement of technology to enable more effective support and learning, and to help you understand how technology can help you.
Technology NOT ALL TECHNOLOGY WORKS. NOT ALL TECHNOLOGY IS RELEVANT. MAKING IT WORK FOR YOU IS UP TO YOU, AND US.

YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Respond to change when it occurs, or lead it? Tap into your knowledge, your experience, and your strength of character to guide yourself and others to take advantage of what change can bring. Regardless of your interests — Liberal Arts, Business, or perhaps both — leading change is a better path, but it is a path that requires preparation and commitment. It is a path that requires a certain kind of student and a certain kind of university. That university is Bryant. The one university that understands that undergraduate education can no longer be business as usual. That it’s our responsibility to prepare you not just to deal with change but to lead it.
Leading Change CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT. PREPARATION IS THE ONLY PATH. LEADERSHIP IS THE ONLY CHOICE.
