The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club has been a considerable source of pride for the Kingdom of Bahrain since its inception in 1977. The unwavering support of His Majesty the King to the Kingdom’s equestrian offering has already seen huge strides taken with high quality races run here in Bahrain, as well as Bahrain-owned horses competing successfully internationally.
The natural next step, as we seek to fulfil our ambition in developing a horseracing industry that stands alongside

The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC)
The regulatory authority governing all aspects of horse racing in the Kingdom of Bahrain established by an Amiri Decree in 1977.
The Bahrain Turf Club (BTC)
Introduced in 2021 as the operating arm of REHC to conduct and promote flat horseracing events in the Kingdom of Bahrain and be the central hub of information for all stakeholders both domestic and international.

THE BAHRAIN TURF SERIES in 2024-2025 is expanded to 12 races with overall prize value increased over $ $1,,0000,0000 providing owners and trainers with the opportunity to compete on the international stage.
The programme specifically targets international horses rated 80-100 to compete against the locally trained horses in Bahrain. Visiting horses are based within the region during the series timeframe.
The BTS continues to present an exclusive opportunity for partners to engage with international connections and visitors throughout the season. Frequent BTC events and dedicated series race days provide a platform for both social activity and business to flourish. to 1

This upcoming season, the prestigious King's Cup race meeting will be transformed into a two-day festival. The opening day of the festival will be featuring two inaugural additions to the Bahrain Turf Series (BTS) calendar. These two elevated races are set with highly competitive conditions and a USD 100,000 prize money.
The second day of the festival retains its focus on the King's Cup, run in a USD 200,000 money, positioning itself to be promoted to Group 3
remains the highlight of the season locally as it is anticipated annually by Bahraini families and is implanted within tradition.

THE 2024/2025 horseracing season commences this November 2024, inaugurating a thrilling six-month spectacle of equestrian competition leading to the season finale in April 2025.
Each race meeting (i.e. raceday) features 8 to 9 individual races. Traditionally, the day commences with a race dedicated to purebred Arabian horses known for their breathtaking beauty and timeless nobility.
The remaining races then transition to the power and athleticism of Thoroughbred horses competing under various race conditions ensuring a thrilling display of diverse equine talent throughout the day.
Each race meeting offers a prime opportunity to sponsor one of the individual races or a full race meeting for a further elevated brand exposure creating a festival-like atmosphere.
