What is Moodle? Moodle is an online Learning Management System (LMS). It is designed to allow teachers to generate leaning and assessment through the use of this web-base program. Since Moodle can be accessed anywhere that has internet connection, it makes it easier for teachers and students to exchange and collaborate information and documents on lessons, ideas, assignments, etc. In spite of this very brief description, there is so much more that Moodle is capable of.
How to access Moodle: To ensure that you are able to get into Moodle if you have not used Moodle in a long time or not at all: • Your First Class email account username and password will be the same username and password for Moodle login. • Make sure that your password to First Class includes not only letters, but also at least one number as well; and a MINIMUM of 8 charactors. Moodle is particular and requires a combination of letters and numbers. You will not have access to Moodle if this is not the case; you will, then, need to change your First Class password. • Firefox web browser works best when using and viewing in Moodle. You can access SAD1’s Moodle course server either: • http://courses.sad1.org/login/index.php (click here for web link) • Most Firefox web browsers already have a link installed. It is located in the Bookmark Bar called SAD#1 Course Server

• You can, also, access Moodle from the MSAD 1 website; located near the bottom of the left-hand menu. Labeled, SAD#1 Course Server.
Once you log in to SAD1’s Moodle Course, on the left side you will see the list of Moodle course you are involved in under the My Course menu column on the left. You should see Mr Nason’s Office located in that menu column. Click on the link.
