Equipment hire/ leasing
Any support package hired from Oil Spill Response is tailored to your specific operational and regulatory needs and dovetails with the requirements laid out in your contingency plans. These packages are designed to meet the requirements in line with the Oil Spill Contingency plans offering appropriate equipment located on site for a rapid first response in the event of an oil spill. Oil Spill Response provides equipment training prior to final handover to the customer and for longer term hires conduct planned maintenance and additional training.
Any support package hired from Oil Spill Response will be specfically tailored to your operational and regulatory needs.
Available equipment includes: Vessel mounted dispersant packages Helicopter dispersant packages Dispersant hire Offshore containment and recovery equipment including booms, skimmers and floating oil storage barges Shoreline response packages including portable boom
systems, skimmers, temporary storage tanks, transfer pumps and sorbents Shoreline support equipment including rakes, shovels, debris bags and PPE Inland response equipment including damming equipment, sand bags, pumps, skimmers and temporary storage tanks
Response equipment systems All systems and packages are designed to provide the correct level of incident support. In remote or undeveloped areas where there is a lack of support infrastructure, robust equipment packages can be supplied. All packages are fully supported by our experienced specialist personnel who provide training in the maintenance and operational use of equipment. For longer term contracts we offer regular training and maintenance support. This is most important when client staff change out on rotation.

Exercising in response readiness and incident command training are all essential to ensure an effective and safe response. As with all training delivered by Oil Spill Response, one of the key benefits is the chance to learn firsthand from our specialist personnel who have recent operational oil spill experience.
Operational Support
If you already have equipment, we can evaluate its current state of readiness and can bring it up to standard if required. The capability of client response personnel can also be reviewed, following which a training programme can be drawn up and conducted according to client specifications.
Best practice maintenance standards
We can provide trained and experienced personnel to assist or advise in operational activities such as ship-to-ship transfer operations, standby during well testing, equipment commissioning and readiness.
