Lalou 女士於 1955 年時加入家族的 Maison Leroy 工作。以其豐富的酒莊
大自家葡萄園的規模,於 1988 年買下位處 Vosne-Romanée 的 Domaine Charles Noëllat 與 Gevrey-Chambertin 的 Philippe-Rémy 兩間酒莊,成立 了 Domaine Leroy。自 1992 年離開 DRC 的經營團隊後,Lalou 女士便全 心投入 Leroy S.A. 與她和先生創建的 Domaine d'Auvenay。根據 2010 年 出版的《The Great Domaines of Burgundy》統計,目前 Domaine Leroy 旗下共有約 22 公頃的自有葡萄園,四十六塊葡萄園包含九個特級園與八 個一級園,年產量約在 35,000 至 45,000 瓶,款款都是全球葡萄酒迷追逐 的焦點,其特級園作品更是勃根地的不朽傳奇。
此舉讓陪伴她建立起 Domaine Leroy 的前首席釀酒師 André Porcheret 分道揚鑣,自此,Lalou 女士一手主導酒莊的葡萄種植和釀造,可以說 1993 年才真正開啟了 Lalou 女士的黃金時代。種種堅持加上 Lalou 女士 無庸置疑的高超釀酒水準,造就匹敵 DRC 的美酒,獨特的莓果香氣與嬌 豔欲滴的玫瑰氣息,澎湃柔美、柔中帶剛、複雜醇厚。

Grand Cru, BH:93, bc1.5cm, bsl, wasl, stl, sc, US import A highly expressive, spicy and now mostly secondary nose of dried flowers, anise, earth, smoked game and dark berry fruit aromas precedes the delicious, intense and distinctly mineral-inflected large-scaled flavors that exhibit plenty of muscle and power on the delicious finish.

Grand Cru, BH:94, bc3cm, lbsl, cif, sos, moldy on wax Quite a bit riper than any wine to this point with jammy, roasted, perfumed, slightly floral aromas and explosive ripe, very primary, rather robust flavors that just ooze pinot extract. Very thick, very dense and extremely concentrated with rounded, buried tannins and a potent, rather pungent finish.
Maison Leroy Musigny 1966
Grand Cru, BH:93, bc4cm, hbsl, lwc An expressive nose of sous bois, brown sugar, spice and warm earth complements the vibrant and still fresh big-bodied flavors that coat the mouth while finishing with excellent power and length. A lovely wine that has peaked but is holding well and should continue to do so over the next decade.

Grand Cru, BH:96, bc1cm, lbsl, lstl, lcif, US import, glue residue The positively gorgeous, strikingly complex and highly perfumed nose offers up an array of both primary and secondary fruit elements along with ample spice, earth, sandalwood and game nuances. There is a distinctly cool mouth feel to the sleek, detailed and focused big-bodied flavors that are overtly powerful while delivering the same excellent depth as telegraphed by the nose on the driving finish.

Domaine Leroy Clos de Vougeot 2000
Grand Cru, BH:93-95, bc3cm, lbsl, lscl, lsos As I noted in Issue 1, no other producer in Burgundy serves their Clos de Vougeot after their Richebourg and it is indeed justified. Slightly austere, earthy pinot fruit with massively dense flavors that explode on the palate and are even bigger and longer than the Richebourg. This displays a remarkable combination of power and finesse with chiseled, muscular flavors all the while exuding elegance.
